Will provide what background I have for each photo, thing that pisses me off most about these threads.
Will take requests, and will post whatever I have that is relevant.
Don't know how far I'll take this thread, already pretty drunk.

>Two US Army soldiers wounded in an IED blast console each other as they are treated on board a medical evacuation helicopter from Charlie Company, Sixth Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment near Kandahar, Afghanistan, on Sunday, June 13, 2010."This image was taken in the summer of 2010 during the height of Obama's surge in southern Afghanistan where I spent a few months embedded. The two soldiers' vehicle had just been blown up in an IED on the highway close to Kandahar and they are seen here consoling each other as they are rescued. I remember the confusion and emotion I felt when taking the photo. I had this overwhelming feeling of guilt that I was intruding on such a painful and private moment but also realized the poignancy and power of what I was seeing through my camera and that I had to record it."

Let's say a Typhoon and an F-35 engage in a dogfight, whether it is real or a Top Gun exercise, what is the most probable outcome? How well do the planes stack up?
F-35 is extremely superior, all other fighters must bow down.
>>33472167
>Real
F-35 says "Lol whatever dude," flies past the Typhoon without being detected and puts a big fat fucking crater in the Typhoon's runway.
>Top Gun exercise
F-35 gets spanked.

Question about trapping:
Is there anything more to it than putting bait in the set trap? Any pointers to help be successful?
What are you trapping? With furbearers it's usually only lure, I have trapped minks over Skrat meat before, though

How much are unregistered full auto AK's worth?
I was looking online and ones that are registered can go for $15,000 but I saw a comment that if it is unregistered they are good for nothing but parts and wouldn't go for more than $400.
Hypothetically, if I were to just have came into possession of one should I return it? Can I go and register it or did it have to be registered before 1986?

How do we add guns to the Infographocs?
I'd like to add the Ruger 9E to the semi-cheap guns list, you can find them for $290 online now:
https://grabagun.com/ruger-sr9e-pistol4354.html
I like it, only stove-piped once when I limp-wristed, hasn't jammed in the 400 rounds since.
Chews through any ammo, no matter how cheap.
Easy to clean.
Mags are expensive, but I found them cheap here:
https://grabagun.com/ruger-sr9-sr9c-magazine-2-pack-9mm.html
You can get most picatinny mounts on the rail as long as they're the kind the widen up, instead of being slid on.
So yeah, there's my shill for the list.

So I'm going shooting for the first time tomorrow with my SKS, which is also my first time ever going to the range and firing a gun. What are some tips so that I don't look like a jackass?
>>33471219
Act normal, learn the range rules, do what the RO tells you even if it sounds retarded. Don't muzzle sweep, don't wear any /k/ or internet memorabilia, dress normally or rather like you would if you were going in public in front of others because I don't know what normal is for you.
>>33471219
dont forget to tip everyone at the range your first time, $50 a person should be enough, though if you see anyone with a mustache you should tip them at least $100
>>33471219
Above all, be safe and dress and act as if you're taking a male friend to a restaurant where you expect to pay $10 per plate. AKA, normal.
Don't throw on your camo and gear, assuming you have any in the first place. If you have one of those handy chinese chest rigs to carry your 220rds in stripper clips with like I do(pic related), great, but don't really wear it for fucks sake.
Since you don't sound like you have much range time, the rules may not be ingrained in your head quite as hard as they will be over time so just pay extra attention to where your barrel is pointed at all times. That's a lot easier with a rifle than a handgun anyway.
If someone wants to be social, just go for it IMO. Trade a few shots with your gun for theirs or whatever. I love seeing someone else smile when try try out some of my stuff and love to try things I haven't shot before, or just take a few shots with something I didn't bring myself.
I'm buying my first AR this weekend.
Narrowed it down to these 3. Each is available for under $600 in my area. Thoughts? Only using it for home defense and varmint shooting.
>Smith and Wesson M&P Sport II
>Bushmaster QRC
