>as a defense for cyclists against dog attacks.
>Because of the low energy of the round, a suicide case was recorded where a woman shot herself twice in the temple with a .25 (6.35 mm) Velo-dog revolver before succumbing.

when bicycles began to be popular and affordable, stray dogs chasing you and trying to bite your calves were a real problem, especially if said dog could very well have the rabies.
>>33475978

Interesting and not a terrible design for a cavalryman from the early 1800s, would dump it by the late 1840s in favor of a revolver though. The attached ramrod and lanyard ring are giveaways. Probably a very early FAL carbean prototype, which is what the famous FAMAS is based upon, which of course led to the modern assault rifle 15.

it's a fucking you dumb cunt

Pretty sure it's tile floor, nice of OP to get back to you about it though. Probably going though grandma's earrings so he can fashion a trigger to fix that thing.

>shot herself
Must have been really weak black powder rounds from the turn of the century because modern FMJ from Buffalo Bore or whoever would poke a nice little hole all the way through a skull. Those old pocket revolvers are easily tough enough to withstand five rounds of modern stuff if you needed.

FAMAS is only applicable to easily recognizable guns, that's the whole damn joke.
