Generally a F/A AK will have 3 selector positions, Safe, Full, Semi, I don't know of any civilian AKs with the full auto position that are semi only.

Make sure you test every position and other controls. There's a few common autosear styles and it's also possible it's been modified internally. But as I said--it's unlikely to be F/A.

You can have your full auto by applying a rubber band or shoestring correctly in many cases. If not, removing a part or dremeling a part will make it full auto.

My opinion on mass shooters is one with a full auto will have worse aim and run out of ammo faster than a mass shooter that has a semi auto.
