BOINC and distributed computing in general is amazing, and there are so many other interesting projects... is it worth it to use the computing time for the search of radio signals from other civilizations? It is argued that in the history of human civilization, these type of radio signals lasted less than a century because we've already scaled down to more directional broadcasting, satellites, more sensitive receivers, etc. So it would be not only a needle in a haystack but also in a very limited time frame

That seems logical. It would also be very risky to intentionally broadcast omnidirectionally to civilizations that could have FTL capability when the broadcasting civilization does not.

I recently started helping with a project for large volunteering organization that uses a large code base to process all the administrative duties of the organization. The entire code base is completely undocumented. Zero comments, zero explanation, I don't even know what all it does are and the interface is a maze. All the code up to this point has been written by one guy who works on it every once in a while in Java. This is all volunteer work and I work a full time job so I can't exactly tell the guy to stop being a shitty developer nor do I have the time to do a complete rewrite. Still want to help fix this project. Wat do? Also unmaintainable code stories

How do you cucks manage to use this shit? Half of the shit I try to throw at like my add-ons just don't end up working. Mostly because I'm running an unsupported version of Firefox for said add-ons.

There are in total 3 24" 1080p 144hz freesync monitors in the world, go on pcpartpicker and go to individual parts and categorize the monitors accordingly. You'll find 3 to select from. I'd recommend the Asus or the AOC, not sure about the third one. I think it's a viewsonic something.
