What's a good smartphone to use on Tmobile network? Wanted to get a z5 premium but it seems many people have bad experiences with it.

dont get anything with the snapdragon 810 because it heats up like a motherfucker.
the heat is not an issue to the hand. it doesnt burn your hand. but it does get hot enough to make Android stop processes to cool down. when it does this your phone is not responsive at all. so it sucks.
dont get anything with the snapdragon 810.
>>55811549
never had this issue.
>blanket statement is false

Same. And I've owned 2 phones with that processor.
Any (preferably FOSS) alternatives to PChunter/Win64ast?

install gentoo
I have been using GNU/Linux and BSD for 15 years along with Windows, but I can't deny that upgrading to Windows 10 is important. This OS is gonna be the newest release of the only OS that supports application software that's the industry standard in many fields (Photoshop, AutoCAD, AfterEffects, etc) and you're gonna end up using it sooner or later. I don't mind if it studies my behavior to provide me with ads relevant to my interests or if it sends everything I type to some remote server to provide me with better search results; I'm not doing or typing anything that I would mind others to see anyway. This OS right here is the only OS to have taken the first step towards the goal of the 4th generation OSes and you're gonna miss out because you're scared that everything you do is being monitored. You're gonna feel pretty stupid in a couple of years when you end up paying $190 for it.

Does anyone have the XPS 13 (2016, developer edition)?
Is it good? Would it work well with fedora?
How's the battery?
>>55811430
Had the XPS 15 a couple of years ago and the build quality was terrible.
The thing started to fall apart after a few months.
Hopefully they have fixed that shit.
Have heard great things about the current XPS line.
HP Spectre x360 and ASUS Zenbook UX303 are both also great 13" ultrabooks if you're in the market.
Spectre is best out of the cheaper models, nice great build quality. Black/gold model looks sexy as fuck in person, too.
UX303 is okay for size / price / performance, but meh build quality.
XPS13 is the most portable and can still have pretty great specs for its size if you drop more $$$. They've upped build quality from the older XPS line, but it still isn't on par with HP Spectre series / Surface Books.
Can't say for how any of their Linux support is, though.
Battery on all 3 should be great, but I'm comparing it to a gaymer laptop with zero batterylife running CAD, so not really a fair comparison.
What would you be using it for?
Generally 13" laptops are good if you need portability and don't need high performance, but have a nice desktop at home to go with it.

Thanks for the info.
Don't know if i can trust hp desu, their service is quite cancerous, isn't it?
Use would be:
shitposting
movie + music
pdf reading
word + latex
I'm neither a gaymer nor a brogrammer, so it would be a normie machine...
most stressful task would be watching 1080p 60 fps streams, but i guess the cpu is good enough.
I guess i'd play some portal 2 too, but that also not hard.
I need portability, great display, great battery. Like i said, performance isnt that important
I want to capture a M3U stream from within a android broadcasting app, but the app wont work on any emulators.
Is the a way to make my laptop capture the stream from a actual phone to get the M3u address and download it in VSO or RMC?
I was thinking fiddler might be able to get the data somehow.
guess not.

Women are the plague of computer science and society is fine with taking away resources from capable programmers so that a new wave of prissy cunts can learn CSS and feel special
seems about right that someone triggered by women can't

I'm building a new rig next week, and as you likely know, I can't just transfer my windows 10 upgrade on my current pc to use on the new rig by using the same key, cause it doesn't work that way; it's binded to your computer via hardware.
The thing is, people report that if you merely upgrade your mobo/CPU, and contact support, they'll make it work on the upgraded hardware.
So my plan is build the new rig at first using the new mobo and CPU but filling the rest with the old components, so it can pass as merely an upgrade, and I contact support and they sort that shit out for me, and then I disassemble it and assemble it again with the new components, then migrate the OS from the old HDD to the new SSD.
The thing is, this is very boring. Isn't there an easier way to get my windows 10 on my new rig, like cloning or making a disk image and being done with it? I'm starting to consider just pirating the damn thing.
If you help me out you get free reign on my body
If your Windows 7/8/8.1 license wasn't device bound, your Windows 10 license isn't.
Just install 10 on your new PC and activate it through support.
Try piracy. Will save you a lot of time.

Sure but if some random windows 10 update comes along, isn't there a chance it'll detect that mine is bullshit?
