This new black Incognito theme is really distracting. At least it goes well with the Tomorrow theme.

Anyone else studying for the CWNA here? Finished my CCNA and working on expanding my networking skillset. How are you doing it besides reading the study guide? Also, if you want to start a study group, that's cool with me too.

Hello /g/
So, I'm a programming-layman and I have barely any knowledge, I also don't really need any besides that I want to code my own Imageboard, and I don't want to use a premade engine since there are certain thing which I'd like to add normal Imageboard-Engines are capable of.
Which stuff will I have to learn for this?
And how many time do you guys think I'll take if spend around 2 hours a day on it?

In the rare occurrence that you have friends, it comes in handy if playing tabletop games like D&D. If it runs on android you can get a DOSBOX emulator and play DOS games.

After seeing what M$ are doing with 10, I've decided to fuck it off and go back to 8.1 - are there any downsides I should be aware of?
>>55811958
just remember classic start and you should be okay
You won't have DX12 support or window snapping working properly with multimonitor setups.
And you will have a fullscreen start menu. But that's about it. Personally I didn't even bother installing a classic start menu because I don't give enough of a shit to begin with.
Other than that, you're doing great. You will benefit from:
-Slightly better performance than Windows 7
-A system that is more up to date
-Consistent design, outside of the obvious start menu
-Slightly faster boot times than Windows 10
-Not having cortana run on the background at all times
So go ahead

¥ Much better taskmanager and bootmenu
Hey niggas.
I have built several desktop computers, and have never really gotten into mobile computing, like, at all. Never owned a laptop, believe it or not. I'd like to get myself one. I figure that building a laptop would be considerably different than building a desktop PC, so I'm not gonna try. Plus, I don't see it being as cost effective as a custom desktop would be. I built mine for $500, and it's easily worth at least $1200.
Anyway, my question is what is the best laptop I can get, for the smallest amount of money? I'd like it to run Windows 10, I guess (no Macs or Chromebooks).
I was considering Asus VivoBook E403SA, but I've heard some poor things about Asus... but generally positive things about this particular laptop overall. Only about $375. Full HD, 14", 9 hour battery, all that. Could be nice.
Advice?

Question: How badly would an FX 6300 bottleneck a GTX 960 or R9 380x? I heard AMD gpus don't work well with cpus with weak cores.
It's true AMD GPUs work best with faster single threaded cores. The 380x is better than a 960 in terms of raw power though .
I have a 8350 and a 390 . For my usage it works very well .
Frogs
Oveclocked to 4.4GHz, it's pretty good.
My [email protected] sometimes bottlenecks my 380x, but that's usually in very CPU heavy games.

Only high demanding games like gta 5 night vhave some problems
Today my PC went off another time and when I restarted it sparked from one spot and smoked / smelled burnt.
I opened it and started to clean everything. Last time this happened there was dust on the VRMs. Note that my PC is very clean and the last cleanup was only a few months ago.
When I turned it on again it sparked again, I looked at the part, a 1x1mm electrical part on the backside of the card. I cleaned it with a lot of Isopropanol and removed the burned remains. It could have been dust as well.
I tried another time and my GPU still works, I played 2 hourse of BF3 and Warframe in 4K as usual. Should I be worried? It's a 2013 780Ti. I want to switch for a 980Ti soon, but it should be still worth 200 € as long as it works.
