What case does /g/ use?
I just bought pic related today, which looks amazing, but it means no more Thinkcenter case :(
I'll still keep the thinkcenter around, because I love it's aesthetic, but this new case will be more space efficient and look a bit nicer internally.

Make your life easier and dual boot.
Either create a new partition, or use a blank drive, or just use a flash drive. VMs are a pain in the ass to get right.

/g/ should I bother trying it?
My father's desktop at his dental office and his higher end desktop here at home both did it without him apparently asking, hah. It worked out OK. GUI is more intense though and can be a bit annoying but I'm wondering if you think it's worth it in my case - Thinkpad T420 (mid-level, medium low really in terms of how nice laptops get in specs), just so in the future I don't have to pirate someone's shitty botnet, and can have the 60 days or whatever to "roll back" to Win 7..? I've got Win 7 64 Professional, I think... SP1.
Anyway other than advice - are you doing it on any of your machines?

I would never recommend Powerline Ethernet Adapters to anybody.
I think stability is dodgy and the one time now that I had to reset the router, the connection was severed between my computer and the router until I had to manually unplug this adapter from the wall and plug it back in. It just creates more things that can go wrong.
