Does this OS have a chance?
Pros:
> Opensource
> Development started picking up speed.
> Next Release in a few days can play games like skyrim appearently.
> Binary Compadible with XP/2003
> supports more filesystems than windows and mac (not as many as linux of course)
Cons:
> Crashes
> you will have a hard time installing it on a real desktop
> it might be open-source windows but it is still windows
> Not that many programs work on it
>>56007842
>Crashes
How often/bad are the crashes? Just doing some research on it now and it seems alright
Probably not. It's still in alpha but it's already deprecated.
The development is proceeding at a snail's pace. There's still a lot that has to be done overall, and that's ignoring stuff like .NET and other specifics. I don't give it much chance; by the time it's a reasonable product, we'll be so far forward in time that linux will probably have flourished with X being completely replaced by wayland, Qt being the dominant gui toolkit, and wine will probably be perfected to the point it can perfectly run any windows program.

So by extension this should apply to curryniggers too then? Just asking.
>>56009059
Of course they will, your adding more shit to be burnt so the fire will burn for longer there is more fuel.
I've been using a Fujitsu LifeBook A1120 running XP for simple browsing. Suddenly, for almost a year already, its webcam can't be detected, and I don't see any "imaging device" section in its device manager neither.
Can anybody help me work this shit around?
I just want to fix this, albeit I got vaio rig that I use alternatively. Thanks in advance, great people of /g/.

http://venturebeat.com/2016/08/02/hackers-break-into-telegram-revealing-15-million-users-phone-numbers/
>Iranian hackers have compromised more than a dozen accounts on the Telegram instant messaging service and identified the phone numbers of 15 million Iranian users, the largest known breach of the encrypted communications system, cyber researchers told Reuters.
>When users want to log on to Telegram from a new phone, the company sends them authorization codes via SMS, which can be intercepted by the phone company and shared with the hackers, the researchers said.
>The researchers said they also found evidence that the hackers took advantage of a programing interface built into Telegram to identify at least 15 million Iranian phone numbers with Telegram accounts registered to them, as well as the associated user IDs.
>>56007707
Telegram has been known to have an unsecure encryption protocol and it's not the most popular chat service. I don't see what the big deal is. This has been known for quite a while now.

Good performance for general use like web browsing and office, god tier battery life, low cost.
Also going to toss in a 128GB Shark for extra storage when I get home.

There were already multiple threads on designing a Programming language for Women, but I want to start one, actually document our Results and make a Python-Alternative
First off, it really needs an Object-Oriented-Language with a command-line-output.
Side Note: The Point is not in discriminating Women, but to make a language as easy understandable as Possible.
