Finally finished up my setup, getting basically everything that I needed.

Now I want to focus a little bit more on a portable setup.

I was in the market for a nice cheap little laptop that I could do things like YouTube, go on 4chan, and probably TS or Skype. (Pretty much the main things that I do)
I was looking at the Thinkpads but they are somewhat heavy and don't have great battery life, they can also tend to run somewhat loud and hot.

What do you guys recommend? Mostly gonna using it in bed when I feel like laying down.

How do I sign up to vk.com without a phone number?

I enter mine (yes, correctly) and I keep getting this stupid message. I've googled around and other fags seem to get it, too, and there's nothing I can do.

I've got this faint crackling sound on my pc whenever I perform an action like opening a new window, scrolling..it's the worst wheneve I open a game. I've tried muting the sound, did not help. I've disabled the audio driver, did not help either. Updating the driver also did not seem to fix it. I plugged my headset in a different jack but this also did not solve my issue. Does any1 of you have an idea or encountered something similar to my problem? pic kind of related i guess

I'm having a very tough time with what should be a very simple task.

I want to install Windows 10 on my gaymen PC (R7 370 drivers are terrible outside of Windoze). I downloaded the ISO from Microsoft, can't find any info about checksum/hash prolly cuz I'm retarded. I have tried writing it to a USB with dd. I tried using gparted to create a bootable FAT 32 and copying everything over (this actually got the thing to boot but it said that it was fucked and I couldn't install). I tried dd from my MBP, also even tried Boot Camp assistant but that's a mess.

How the hell do I make a bootable Win10 USB? I feel like I'm just fucking something really stupid up. Every other ISO I try and make just works when I dd it to a flash drive.

What do I have to do to make it work with Win10? Is my ISO just bad? It takes forever to DL anything on my internet I wish they would just have a torrent for it. can I verify it with a checksum? If so where the fuck do they hide the checksum value?

I hate Windows already and I'm starting to think I should just buy an nVidia card so I can just game on Linux.
