>staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers

Is there an easy way to add my .torrent files and have qbittorrent check subfolders to find matches? I have all my music/movies/tv/games in different folders and don't want to manually add hundreds of torrents...

What is your opinion of these watches? I think there's no better kind. I love everything about them.

Also, of the following two models, which do you like....

my opinion is they look autistic and no one needs a wrist-watch for pure utility, so if you're wearing a watch you should be wearing one that doesn't look retarded

Kill yourself

Hey all, about to invest into a new PC, would love to hear some critique.

Specifically, I'm concerned about space in my case and cooling effectiveness. Here's the link:

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=35961187

In addition, I'd love to have some recommendations on headsets, mice, keyboards, and monitors. Looking to drop around $400-500 for all 4.

Why not a Skylake? Why spend so much on the AiO? Why the very expensive SSD? Why the pricey and very overpowered PSU?

Case is fine.

Stupid question: why hasn't .webm surpassed .gif as the standard? The immediate cause is pretty obvious: not all websites/programs support easy playback of .webm files, but what's the root cause?

Us toughbook guys need a general too, so lets show those thinkpad neckbeards who's got a REAL indestructible laptop!

Why toughbooks? - A quick ebay search suggests they havent had the price inflation of memepads, you can get a toughbook equivalent to a thinkpad for less than half the price! Plus its even more rugged and just as many features!

Toughbook related resources:

After breaking two at work, my father bought a rugged laptop for work, and it still holds, while it does the job for him. I manage the software and OS and stuff remotely, whenever he needs help.

He still hates the hell out of that thing.

The only deal is that they look great, but that's about it. My ThinkPad weights a hell of a lot and these are even worse.

Also, let's be honest, more than 95% of lurkers here have absolutely no practical use of a rugged laptop.
>>
I have to interact with people so they most I'll go with is thinkpad anything more is overkill

I know next to nothing about github or its terminologies and am prepared to accept everything in your picture as fact.
>>
>>56447902
here are some better definitions:
"reposotory" (repository): 'repos' contain the source code for programs that contributors push to using git, but they can really include any type of file including data and program binaries.
"forked" - a fork is a clone of a repo at a certain point in time that is developed differently and may be merged back into the repo.
"pull request" - a request to one of the managers to the repo to pull your changes and merge them. this does not give you edit access.

Congrats, now all the people watching your broadcast are now even more clueless about what the terms mean. These descriptions are written for the lowest common denominator, because that's who watched news shows like that.

I have a good idea and i need you guys help
Please respond PLEASE

Email works by having am mx record on the dns system
Witch means email is descentralized and therefore is why thats the leading technology
Centralized technologies will never dominate the market because they have limitations and can be regulated
How can we bring phone calls to the internet?
I get it, we can make phone calls using the usual infrastructure and in the internet we can use skype google facetime
All centralized technologies

What about direct calls ip to ip?
Cant be done because behind every ip theres a thon fuck of computers

Ok, so the solution to replace the usual phone infrastructure and bring calls only to the internet, is using the DNS to connect phones using an phone exchange record aka px
So we would use the email format, to call people

Lets say my "number" is
[email protected]

I call
[email protected]

How the conection would work?

I would make a call
I would request the call to xxx.com
There would be an px record 3.3.3.3
This server would request the yyy.com dns
There would be the px record 5.5.5.5 witch 3.3.3.3 would conect identifying who i am
It would say to the [email protected] user im calling
If the user accepted it would make a direct ip to ip
Or the user could use a proxy if he wanted

Why not make the direct ip call without the DNS
Three reasons
It identify who you are
Protect ip agaisnt doss
My ip changes all the time depending my if its cable wifi or 4g, thats the biggest reason

GOOD BYE VERIZON AND AT&T

Say what you got to say, im here for critics and answers

Nationwide public meshnet.
200,000km of patch cable.
Buy in bulk
>>
>>56447397
But that would need a whole new infrastructure
Maybe in the future, but for now the px idea is a lot cheaper

Sup /g/ , Laptop Noob here.
So I'm fucking tired of dealing with shitty laptops that burn out after 6 months. I want to build my own pc but don't know where to start.
As far as needs go I don't really play vidya as much anymore, so thats not really a concern.
But it needs to be able to run programs like unity or unreal, and general music production/recording software with out crashing. Maybe light gaming. Speed is important because I'm an impatient little autist who rages out when I have to slowdown or stop for my shittops. My budget is around 400 right now, don't mind going over for quality.

Optical Media (CD-RW etc...)
Tower case
