This is pretty cool, I hope it stays up until I get back from home
slow as fuck
>allo
>duo
>pixel
>Andromeda
The reason is the company is under the control of pajeets right from top to bottom. I seriously hope some pajeet takes over applel as well. The only way to increase applel's shitty MacBook lineup
>>56920437
Allo and Duo have been a fucking disaster, what planet are you living on?
They need to compete with iMessage and Facetime. Apple did years long ad campaigns to make sure users were utilizing these things.
Google releases apps that don't have feature parity with their competition, they don't advertise them to regular users, and is shocked that nobody ends up using them other than the autists who watch their bullshit conferences.
The best news so far is that their cameras finally aren't completely shit.
You mean pajeets are the only ones dumb enough to use dumb features.
pajeets are in charge, and they end up reinventing the messaging app.
Post your suggestions.

Who is this even supposed to be making fun of?

Hello /g/, what is a good linux distro for old computers?
good ol pupper OS brings life back to any old PC
>>56919424
Ubuntu-mate is my go to. Work on a RPi so it should work on anything.
>>56919424
Read the fucking wiki.
Also, stop post blank image.
Rocketshield made a standalone Chrome browser for Android.
It's got plenty of users, but never seen it mentioned on /g/.
I think it's the best browser on the market right now.

FAQ:
> Stop shilling
I have spent hours if not days looking for a working solution.
This is a thousand times better than FF Beta + uBlock.
> Why not ABP Browser, etc
There are other FF based forks. Problem is?
FF is slow as fuck on Android. It's just horrible.
> What if I use Samsung
You can use this, or use Samsung's "Internet" and install ABP and other filters for it.
That app is literally a Chromium re-branded. It's got annoying animations and whatnot, though.
> Name looks shady
Yeah, they do lack creativity.
> But I see ads
The only ads I saw is when you press that shield on the bottom, it updates the filters, and you see ads at the bottom. And you can just X out the window.
It's running a rather fresh build too, but it's still has that "merge apps and tabs" thing in the settings that I never liked. But it's off by default.
Where's the source code?
Do you think anyone on /g/ is going to use some propware?
>>56919393
> use some propware
About 99% of /g/, yes.
To be honest I would use Firefox but first there is the SJW shit, second, it's very slow.
So yeah, I am ready to sacrifice.
Also:
> stock Android
> free / open-source
welp..
How do I download a video directly (using firefox) without any screen capture software - just like a download from source button?

Install gentoo

You have to hack into they're server and download it off of their
good adblocker? what are you using?
uBlock Origin with Reeks anti-adblock killer filterset
uMatrix for filtering out trackers, 3rd Party bs and javascript where I don't need it
I only recommend uMatrix if you know what you are doing though, or just read the FAQ
>>56918668
uBlock Origin.
>>56918847
>>56918900
does it block pop ups?
You have 10 seconds to explain why you haven't refinanced your home, sold you're wife's son, and taken out a 30-year loan so that you can afford to import the greatest ultraportable laptop ever to grace our heathen mortal realm.
>>56918609
Because I don't need one. Also it looks gay and has a Windows logo on it.

why the hell would I want a touchscreen
>keyboard
shitty layout. Haven't typed on it but it doesn't look like it'd feel good
>comes with Windows
unless it'll work with a real operating system I don't want it
>that keyboard layout
The decision it's been made, now the only left is choosing the distro.
I leave that to you guys, dubs choose

Microsoft is just the bad parts of Google, Apple, and GNU/Linux. Prove me wrong.
>Microsoft is the bad parts of two companies and an operating system
>>56918447
Linux is not user friendly and breaks
Google datamines everything and shuts down products every year
Apple is a bunch of consumer bullshit
Microsoft is literally all of the above
>>56918502
>linux

If only provided with unstable software...
I liked the Zune HD. It was supposed to be Microsofts ipod killer and IMO it had better features , windows integration and was cheaper. However the ipod still outsold it. Microsoft never released a successor because the smartphone market killed mp3 players
VAIO P-series
>>56918321
I had one, it was total fucking shit just like ipods, just like anything that sorts by ID3 tag only and prevents the user from browsing by folder/file.
UMPCs in general. My opinion is that it came out a little too early. Imagine a Kohjinsha or a Viliv with some modern this-gen SoC/CPU, man it would be great. Sadly, netbooks are all we have access to these days.
Electromagnet math! Mathematicians and Electricians get in here!! Crazy EMP invention talk!
So I have a 55 gallon barrel wrapped with approximately 930 feet of a communications wiring. It is 12 strands of 24 gauge wire. I am trying to figure what the approximated gauge all 12 individual strands together would be equivalent to.
>>56918268
Tesla walks into a bar, the mood changes.
I am essentially trying to create an emp generator. Can this put out anything significant or is the length of wire too long? Thinking DC power source. Having a hell of a time dealing with voltage drop and the initial figures of what guage 12 24 strands equals.
