I liked the Zune HD. It was supposed to be Microsofts ipod killer and IMO it had better features , windows integration and was cheaper. However the ipod still outsold it. Microsoft never released a successor because the smartphone market killed mp3 players

I had one, it was total fucking shit just like ipods, just like anything that sorts by ID3 tag only and prevents the user from browsing by folder/file.
UMPCs in general. My opinion is that it came out a little too early. Imagine a Kohjinsha or a Viliv with some modern this-gen SoC/CPU, man it would be great. Sadly, netbooks are all we have access to these days.
mine stills works
but I will replace it with a tiny player without a touch screen when it dies

just get a tag editing software.
BOOM.
problem solved AND you get to use a superior mp3 player.
Other than that, i'm using a fiio m3
I still have mine. I no longer have any use for it, so it sits in its box inside of my underwear drawer.
I am going to keep it though, as it has nostalgia factor, and it was also a gift from my dad when I was a teenager.
It is weird knowing my 2011 android with a 3.8 inch screen can do more than most phones today, even does more than the new iphone.

I have a OPO now, and a $1 mp3 player off the play store that sorts by file/folder. Dedicated mp3 players are deprecated.

dedicated mp3 player will sound better than whatever you use for music now.
depends on your thing bruh, i just like listening to good music

Jesus christ did I ever love my Zune. I used that same wallpaper in your pic too.
Got lifted out of my car I assume by the dickweed that toed it after I was in a pretty messed up car crash.
Worst part of the crash wasnt losing my car, it was losing my Zune :(
