Nah I think it was CANNed
Feels bad. But, on a more thread-relevant note, let's talk about biomechatronics/cybernetics, etc.
Currently looking at (and wishing to get involved with) MIT's biomechatronics group. They are currently focusing primarily on cybernetic legs and are working on an artificial skin.
GITS sucks.

Why is ThinkPad a thing around here?
No troll here. I really want a personal overview from the community about it. Here is some of my base motivations on have a doubt about buying a ThinkPad.
> On country ThinkPad is overpriced just like Apple notebooks.
> ThinkPad configurations can be found on other brands Like Asus or Samsung.
> I had good times using Linux with 3 Asus Notebooks (from the cheapest to the expensives) models. Linux distros: Slackware, Archlinux RedHat, CentOS and OpenSUSE.
I really like the "lack" of design from the ThinkPad. It really makes me feel like they would endure for 100 years (of course not). So seriously, any special reason to be with one?
> I'm totally expecting someone saying that they're very cheap on their town on things like that. So go head and say it ^_^
> Yeah. I've moved from Linux to BSD family with a Macbook Air.
> Yeah. For the actual configuration it's too overpriced (hell yeah) but the goodies from the system just work very fine :) and my projects are running over VPCs :3
Asus is terrible.

My father needs a new website for his business and because i know c++ this makes me the authority on web design. I have no clue what to look for or how to find a contractor, how do i find someone to make a website
>>56918128
I'll do it for you, anon. What sort of business is it?
>>56918287
interior design. just a local business, we just need it to have updated information and a good-looking layout.
mobile would be great too
1. get a small vps
2. install ubuntu server/centos/etc on it
3. install nginx and wordpress/joomla/drupal
4. set it up
5. get your dad to pick a free theme and add some content with your help (if you can operate MS office, you can create content on these CMS's)
6. ???
that's pretty much it, you don't need anything fancy or custom, and this will be so, so much cheaper than paying someone to make a site for you (and you still need to pay the hosting and write your content)
Hello /g/,

How is this thing not perfect, /g/? I'm tired of dropping loads of money on tryhard laptops. This thing seems like a perfect balance of function and 'don't have to give a shit'.

Android apps

well you answered your own question there...

Literally none of those things are negatives.

It's all negatives, son.
Can /g/ recomend any good speakers for listening music/playing vidya?
>>56917916
Buy Tannoy.
budget and what kind of music.
For gaming; headphones are pretty much required for anything like counter strike where you need positional accuracy to your audio.
>>56917935
>Budget
Nothing too expensive
>What kind of music
EDM mostly
>For gaming
Yeah for those types i am using headphones but for something where sound is background i like using speakers

Such a retarded gif, as if consistent UI design is bad, or something.
If you think about it, the only thing that gif shows is that the iPhone 1 was so ahead of it's time that it's UI hasn't needed a drastic change years later.
>>56917871
>gif
Nah, the most retarded thing is that getting faster and faster doesn't count as "innovation", i.e. creating something new. Besides, they should have had arranged the phones the other way around. It almost looks like iPhones' unlocking process takes longer and longer in that gif
>>56917929
Let's not forget you can automatically unlock your phone by simply touching the button with Touch ID.
Is it possible to disable all of the botnet in windows 10 or do I just use it like the gubmint is watching my every move?
>>56917751
>ShutUp10
>>56917751
>implying you're not retarded enough to use anything else that can be considered botnet
>>56917751
No, you can't. You can use spybot anti-beacon, but botnet is built into the system so that won't really help much. The only way of avoiding this would be buying an external firewall independent of your PC and whitelist only IP addresses you want to let your PC interact with. But this would also mean you have to manually check for and install updates, if you ever want to install them.
