I'd release a very ultra simple site to get your exit IP. It's optimized for use with curl command:
$ curl ipcon.ga
Nice try, NSA.
Trying to get my IPs

My mom's in the market for a new laptop and asked if I could help her pick one out. She wants something that's lightweight, has a built in webcam, tactile keyboard, and 12.5-17 inch screen. She doesn't use a computer for anything besides the internet, so I don't need anything too beefy. She said her budget was $1200 but I assured her I could get her one for much much less.
Any suggestions? I was thinking about recommending the thinkpad x220 to her but thought I'd ask if you guys had any other suggestions before doing so.
Get a Chromebook

Hey /g/uys I am in a machine learning class, and we need to implement AI somehow for our final project,I want to wite a program thatll learn to play games, but i dont know how to read data from the screen.
Are there any good libraries or programs I can use thatll help me do that?
>>56930837
look up learnfun & playfun
don't read from screen, that's asking for trouble.
>>56930837
Why not look up an open source emulator? I found an nes emulator written in JavaScript once and it was pretty easy to just read it's memory since it was all just in an array. Figure out where the framebuffer is in ram and it's pretty easy to extend and process it during emulation. Just find an emulator in your chosen language and for a chosen system and extend it with your ai routines.
What sort of games?
Okay now im pissed after the Google presentation. I don't mean to come off as racist but how do we get these cheap ass Indians out of our tech companies?
They're polluting innovation and progress by holding back so the homeland can catch up, among other reasons.
We need to start revoking and removing these god damned hsb1 fuckers back!
>indians prevent progress
Its capitalism. If it wasnt for indians another person willing to work for almost no money would dominate.
are this butthurt's threads?

You created this shitty pixel phone, asshole! How can my Nexus 6 have stereo sound but not this? Fuck you
What's a good internet plan for a moderate-sized (~75') vessel in the South Pacific?
How do you even get internet in a boat that's really far away from the coast?

i've thought of sending data packets over HAM via EME, but i don't have the proper licencing
Just what is the data from all these recaptchas being used for?
Is google using it to create a neural network of some sort?
I remember the old recaptchas were used to help decrypt books or something.
>>56930667
>decrypt books or something.
STFU
>>56930667
google is using it to feed a neural network for image semantic recognition, exactly
What recaptcha?
Because there is enough demand even at a high price
They are? When I bought my SSD 4 years ago it cost nearly a dollar a gig, now you can get them for about $.025-30 a gig. Price has dropped about 75%.
I really wish they'd make cheap low capacity SSD's. I'd like to buy up some $10-$15 40GB SSD's if they made them.
I was given one of these by my neighbor. Apparently there's a whole Toughbook "scene", not unlike ThinkPads.
What can I do with this?
>>56930490
code while /out/
>>56930490
You could drop it or wash it with water. You could throw out your shoulder or back carrying it around...

Can /g/ explain CPU cooling to me? I'm looking for a new heatsink that isn't the stock one and apparently capability is measured by wattage? How does all this work?
Just get a hyper 212

I have a hyper 212. It's like 5mm too big for my case. I'm saving it for my next build, if there ever is one.
i5 6600k with gtx 1060 or i5 6500 with gtx 1070 for 1080p 144hz gaymen?

1070, especially if you don't want to upgrade again in a year.
>>56930212
Get the non-k and make sure to never get any BIOS update. Non-K skylakes can be overclocked using BCLK as long as your MOBO isn't patched to remove the feature (intel told them to)
I just bought it.
Red pill me and blue pill me.
he only thing I hate is flex on the keyboard
Thing I love the most is battery life
Also, discuss similar portable computers
My roommate was about to buy this then I made him buy a thinkpad yoga 12
>>56930195
Non Think-branded Lenovo == garbage.
This applies for their desktops and laptops.
i just bought a surface pro 3 with a pro 4 keyboard.
I love this thing
Is there a way to upgrade to 10 from 8.1 for free still?
Or am I gonna have to use a USB to install a pirate copy?
