Many people here say that palemoon it's really good. But I can't see its advanteges over firefox.

Are you autistic?
Firefox is working fine for me. Less resources and snappier than chrome.
Just using chrome for netflix, but apparently there's some drm package you can add so chromium is good for netflix.
Now that it's over, let's discuss the new Pixel phones.

>£700 for 5" 128GB version
Since no sd card slot, this is the only option available.
So yea, that's all that can be said about this phone. Is there any reason for which is costs over £400? Other than trying to convince people that most expensive == the best.
I was really looking forward to replace my M8, but no phone is worth this much.

What do you think about this botnet?
Is it any good?
>>56922447
>botnet
I thought summer was over.
>>56922447
It seems really useful at first, but then you try to actually use it and it's not the time save you thought it would be. I mean if you want to scale it to more than one computer it just blows my mind. DNS, ports and everything is really confusing. Useful for development I guess.
how is it a botnet?
AMD stock value at the release of RX 480: $5.12/share
Today: $7.02
Nvidia stock value at release of GTX 1080: $34.76/share
Today: $68.57
>B-but wait for Vega
Nvidia stock is larger than Intel stock.
Wanna know what that means? Overinflated
>>56922487
what does this have to do with intel
>>56922786
Intel's net worth and revenue are much larger than Nvidia's, and their stock value is lower, which would suggest that Nvidia's stock is "overinflated"
in any case, comparing stock price directly with zero regards to volume or net worth is fucking stupid and OP is a retarded child

Why have you not joined the Google Pixel master race, /g/?
>>56922432
Why do you shill instead of getting a real job, OP?
Because my nexus 4 still works like a charm.

Because I enjoy having a phone that doubles as a termite charge.

Starting tomorrow, I'm starting training for a job, in COBOL, with mainframes. As far as I know, this is some really old technology. My question is, will this experience translate well into future jobs? I realize that I will mostly do legacy code maintenance, how hard/shitty is that?
Pic unrelated.
Very shitty, but pays unholy amounts of money. Cobol programmers are a dying breed.
You will never leave COBOL and rightly so
>>56922501
The pay is quite good, indeed. However, I'd like to know, is this a good starting point for a programming career? I'm not too keen on maintaining old code for the rest of my life.

Gibibyte.

In actual real life it's called a gigabyte.
Say gigabyte, gets girls wet
Has anyone ever been actually caught stealing non-free code in a commercial closed source software?
>>56921612
Yes. The DD-WRT and later OpenWRT projects started because of a GPL-enforcement suit against Linksys. Those projects are essentially forks of the code Linksys released as part of the settlement.
There are other cases, but that's a prominent example.

B because of weight. A 1070 probably won't heat up that much if it's only doing 1080p, and you've got more than enough storage, so portability and aesthetic is really the only difference between the three. I personally would save a bit and go for the 1060 version of B, but if you're determined to have a 1070, I'd go for that.
This isn't my first time using Linux. I'm an oldish guy, I was using Suse back in '99, get off my lawn, etc. etc.
It's been a while though, so I decided to go back and try Linux again. The results were....disappointing. How is it that Linux got shittier at "just working" in the past 17 years?!

You didn't make the usb correctly. What does youtube have to do with linux? I don't think you're good benchmarks for any type of UX
>>56921477
Tried both available drivers, and different browsers. Mysteriously enough, working OSes (Windows, OSX, even fucking ChromiumOS) are all able to do this with no problem.
