When the router is in WiFi disabled mode (from the advanced settings), used only with Ethernet, does it still emit WiFi signals?
>>57280662
Depends on how shit and Chinese your router is.
yeah unless you have a hard switch, depending on the router and firmware. when you turn on the router, wifi activates then turns off, depending on your history of connectivity and the relation of the device towards the aggregation and localization of peers

Remember the following:
>staff occasionally read these generals and have posted here before, though most claims of being staff are false
>staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers
>sneaky bastards will try to convince you that cheating can be evaded. It can't and you will be banned and everyone will laugh at you
>people claim to report emails and other personal info posted here to staff to get you banned
>most of the invite offers here are people trolling you with false hope - begging for invites is a waste of time
at first i was like...
Any tracker besides what.cd and you can cheat, here are a few methods:
1. ghostleech: delete the tracker in the client after the peers are loaded or use a modded client like userenity( google it, you'll find it)
2.Increase ratio with mratio :a)don't cheat on packs(cause some partial seeds will look like leeches),
b)choose well leeched torrents, use your real upload speed on many of them(like 20), don' cheat long term and use advanced mratio setting to get the cheating to stop on low leeches.
3.Cheat on bonus points:Add 200-500 torrents and set the speed to 0 on them and let mratio run.(don't add new internals)
Tips:1. be careful on trackers like: TL, PTP, GGn,AHD(no methods just faking artistry, high level of acting like a real seed).
2.Google waffle method for these:waffles ofc,KG,CG,Bz trackers,BiB,Emp,Plab,32p,x264,SciHD,TT,SceneHD,SCC etc.
3.DON'T cheat on what.cd cause they have the best scripts in the game, by far.

Shame on you OP.
Why do we pay to be connected to the internet? Is just because someone needs to power up and operate the nodes (e.g. station in your town) that further connects with another country and so on?
I mean where is my money going and for what exactly? Also why do we pay for website domain names? This all sounds like somebody is forcing us to pay them to "let" us in... I mean who the fuck owns domain names, this fucking web is supposed to be decentralized without owner
>>57280614
stop doing so much crack
>>57280634

>>57280614
>Is just because someone needs to power up and operate the nodes (e.g. station in your town) that further connects with another country and so on?
Yes
>Also why do we pay for website domain names?
Because there are organizations that maintain DNS servers that allow people to quickly and easily connect to servers using their domain names.
These organizations also make sure that only one person uses each domain name.
You pay them for both of these services. If you wanted to, I think you could do the DNS server yourself. I'm not sure about owning your own domain without registering it though, you would need your own top level domain and I don't think you can get that easily. Some tlds are free to use, though you still wouldn't "own" the tld so idk.

Which version of Linux is the best and how do I delete Windows 7?
>>57280416

>>57280431
This is your answer?
>>57280416
What you guys are referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

Are they? I mean I wouldn't be surprised, Apple abandoned the professional market. Can't wait for iphone development on Windows. Once that is done, they can kill OSX and only have their phone OS.

they certainly lost the photography and videography market. might even lose the music market if everything is going to need adapters.
