Shareholders in the US are different from literal wage slaves in china. Apple gets away with it because people are willing to pay a premium for them and don't notice that apple hasn't really made many significant improvements or good additions in years. It just looks nice and "modern" which people think is a good thing to have and/or because they don't care about having default shit on it because they never will jailbreak it.
Apple got lucky with their early marketing and are now thought of a top-of-the-line company without needing to put anymore effort into their products, just like BMW recently making shitty batteries but people still buy them because BMW has a legacy and iconic name, regardless of how shitty they've become they still have decades of recognition to fall back on, just as Apple has over a decade of making things that looked nice and worked sufficiently but now they can advertise less because they don't need to anymore since they've become more iconic as a brand.

When do you know an interview won't end in a job interview? For me it's when they steeple their fingers and try to find an alternate way to phrase their question. Each finger-touch screams, "I went to MIT and didn't want to interview anyone today, so I'll just dick around with a question about WEB SERVICES instead of out-and-out asking about SOAP experience."
No, seriously. Every interview where they've steepled their fingers, "we're continuing with other candidates." When they don't, at least they suggest I could get in after the hiring freeze through Q1.
TL;DR when do YOU know when a CS or web dev interview has gone off the rails?

Also, when the interview is very long, like when I fuck up a question, I fix it and then I fuck it up again in the next question.

Two years ago I got a monitor that can run 2560 x 1440 resolution. I'm surprised to say I have had a hard time finding any kind of videos that run at that resolution.
I can't even find a good movie trailer download. Running video off youtube and the like is too compressed which why I want a real downloads I can run off the hard drive.
Can anyone direct me to a source of media that fits my monitor??, Chinese cartoon , movies, anything, just 1440p at least
