I need a cheap (<$150) DAC+amp combo that can comfortably drive 300ohm headphones.
I've looked at Fulla2 but it can only drive 40mW RMS per channel @ 300ohm which is bullshit. Schiit's Modi+Magni kit is $200 (+tax +shipping) which is way too much.
Anyway, wat do?
>>58266044
Buy the amp now (magni 2/uber) with a cheap RCA to 3.5 cable for your PC line out then wait on the DAC til your autismbux come in next month.
>tfw you have new headphones coming in
>good enough at programming and maths to tell that when matrices are used for the vertex shader in OpenGL, it's always done inefficiently and/or mathematically incorrectly
>not good enough to figure out how to do it correctly on my own
Has anyone ever seen a perfect use of a matrix for a vertex shader?
Specifically:
>does not perform multiplications per-object-per-frame that can be done simply per-frame (stuff to do with the camera for example)
>no functions that multiply things backwards, and correct matrix multiplication
>only passes one matrix into the vertex shader, rather than an unnecessary three
I've almost managed to make such a system, but unless orthographic it has a few cases where it renders incorrectly.
I edited the image because it made a janitor butthurt.

You could just not be a disgusting furfaggot and not post furfaggot shit.
That would have been much easier you detestable cock knobbler.

All my negative reaction images are at least a little bit furry.
I don't know how it ended up like that.

ITT: We post code from our programming languages and other anons have to guess what language it's from (what language spec it complies with). Hard mode: don't bother conforming to your languages' formatting standards.
I'll start off easy.#include <stdio.h>
void main(){
unsigned char language = 67;
unsigned char message[] = "of course";
printf("%c, %s.\n", language, message); }
print 'OP is a faggot'
public static int main(string[] args){return 17392084635;}

Not C, that's for sure.
Is 2017 the year of the linux desktop?
>>58265528
...soon....
>>58265528
linux is a kernel, not a desktop env
>>58265651
Never.
It's that time again.
Post a command and I'll run it.
Fuck my shit up, /g/.
pwd && echo Hello World!

So I'm going to reinstall Win 7 on my gaming PC.
What can and should I do to reduce the botnet?
Which Windows Updates should be installed if any?

kb3172605 fixes updating hell on new installs. *IMPORTANT*
you need to install kb3020369 and kb3177467 first.
do those three at least.

Thanks buddy

Doesn't work like that anymore.

REEEE IS IT JUST ME?
Samsung coming out with apple pods. Why the fuck do companies try to mimic the most cancerous tech company ever?
http://bgr.com/2016/12/31/galaxy-s8-rumors-airpods/
>wireless overpriced ear pods
>no head phone jack
>le thinner is better meme
>it just werks XD
Has technology peaked? Have the consumers simply created this demand for shitty hardware and software? Da jews maybe? What do you think /g/?
>>58265363
Samsung has always followed Apple in certain aspects. I mean, who in their right mind would think that a gold/rose phone is in any way acceptable? However, once Apple came out with that abomination, Samsung was sure to follow.
I think that a consumer-created demand for a yearly phone refresh is what has retarded the tech advancements. Instead of taking their time to revolutionize the industry, companies are scrambling to pack their phones with useless gimmicks, and peddle that garbage to consumers.
The low costs of manufacturing has to be maintained as well. Hello suicide nets in Chinese factories!
Oy vey!
>>58265363
They already had wireless earbuds before Apple. All they're doing is price matching.

redpill me on ios 9.3.5 jailbreak
I own an iphone by mistake and have been waiting on 9.3.5 in the hopes it comes and because I don't want to be cucked even further by ios 10
will it ever come out? is there jailbreak for ios 10 right now? should I just kms?
>>58265336
Isn't there some program recently updated that allows you to save your 9.3.5 shsh blobs so if you upgrade to ios 10 accidentally you can always downgrade? Look into that, just in case 10 comes out before 9.3.5
Ive owned a iphone since the 3g, and been jailbreaking every chance i get. Its getting increasingly annoying to jailbreak. The time to jailbreak is becoming longer and longer each time and each new jailbreak while being as easy as ever tends to be sub par(i.e. semi-tethered)
It all went downhill when shsh blobs were removed and you could no longer save them and restore back the same firmware when shit hit the fan. As much people say "hurr durr dont update" shit happens. When you have access to the entire structure of the phone shit can get weird. One wrong move and you need to update to whatever the latest is and then you are locked out for another 9 months before the next jailbreak.
I got to the point where i wonder why I even jailbreak anymore, it was fun running emulators for all of 10 seconds but now iOS functionally has cannibalized all the good ideas in the JB scene and does everything I need it to. Sometimes id love root access for stupid shit like themes or control center additions but the tweak quality is tending to go down and less useful. There is some really nice shit sometimes like unlimited skips for pandora, saving snapchats, youtube++ but i dont lose sleep over not having them.
Ill still jailbreak if there is one up, but if i lose my JB or have to wait it doesnt bother me.
Let's run down the list
Android phones let you:
>have a more secure mobile OS with real encryption (no backdoors except on chinkshit)
>download over 100MB over mobile data
>install a third party app launcher and icons
>use it as a flash drive
>share any kind of file over wifi/bluetooth
>torrent via torrent clients in the playstore
>install apps outside the playstore
>modify a few system settings to increase performance and decrease battery drain
>manually control complex camera functions via third party apps
>natively browse files
>view better colors via amoled displays
>browse 4chan and natively open webms inside them via third party apps
>extract/browse archives
>add additional phone storage via a micro SD card
>replace the stock battery with a bigger one
>add widgets to your home screen
>access important functions by swiping down
ALL WITHOUT HACKING TO HACK YOUR PHONE
You can spout all the "lagdroid XDddd---" memes you want but Android phones truly are more advanced than itoddler phones and the reason why they hold over 90% of the global smartphone market now.
Un-googling
What services have you un-googled yourself from in 2016?
>me
chrome (and bookmarks, password manager - switched to firefox)
drive (switched to dropbox)
photos (manual backup every so often)
keep (switched to evernote. not as simple but it's ok)
youtube (set up separate burner account)
search (use DDG, Bing and StartPage if necessary)
>still to do
android (once this phone dies, maybe switch to windows if its still around, maybe iphone, or maybe just forget about smartphones)
I'll probably keep my current Gmail as my main personal email, it's been too many years. But just as a standalone email service. No other services tied-in. It's too dnagerous to have all your eggs in one basket.
>>58265289
>drive (switched to dropbox)
is that the only alternative to drive there is? i know there's mega, but the reason i like drive is that it allows people to view photos and videos without first downloading them using that drive share link. is there any other service that does this?
>>58265473
box.com
Supports webdavfs so you can just mount it.
>>58265289
>dropbox
Still a botnet, though. I've seen OwnCloud mentioned here many times, so maybe look into that. Otherwise you are just sending your files to someone else's computer.
>GMail
It took me a good 2-3 weeks to fully move my account away from GMail to a non-U.S. based provider. No regrets, even though it did require a considerable amount of effort, GMail being my main account and all.
I've missed all of the CCC 33C3 conference because I was visiting my parents and now that I'm back, I've been going through their website and looking at the talks.
There seems to be a lot of bullshit & SJW talks this year. Germans have been infected by SJW/feminism bullshit too.
Anyway, has anyone seen any good 33c3 talks? Which one would you recommend?
Anyway, pic related.

I haven't noticed that much during previous year's conference. I only watched shit that was linked on various sites so didn't check the full schedule. Sad.
For 2017 I want to learn Python and Django web framework.
Is this a feasible goal? Can I do it in a year?
>>58265225
You could probably do it in a week.
So, yes.
>>58265229
Why is it so easy?
>>58265249
There's immense documentation for it everywhere.
Python isn't a difficult language itself and Django is also very well documented with lots of examples everywhere.

Why does Linux lack professional software?
because linux users tend not to be pharmacists, so they can't afford to pay for professional software
