So I don't know why companies make usb headsets while using 3.5 mm jack for mic and headphones. I don't know why, but all of a sudden I can't use my mic through usb but through jack it works fine. What's up with that? Is audio via usb better? Is it some kind of mikser (never pressed any buttons on it lol). Do you know how do i fix it so the mic works through usb again?

1) yes, because it takes the processing away from interference, at least it should.

2) in the case of this, it is more because many people dont have front inputs on their cases, this is just a convenience measure, if you have actual jacks use them

3) its possible they add some control to the headphones on the usb thing, so it's easier to use.

Alright you fucking nerds, if you think you know all about computers I want you to explain to me how this shit works.

Okay so, Flash Player runs like ass on my computer. It has nothing to do with the computer itself or viruses, it's the same deal and I tried it in two different brand new computers, also tried an offline SWF player and three different internet providers and it runs the same on all that shit. Now forget all that, even if you could explain why Flash runs like shit here is where it gets stupid and I have yet to find anyone on the internet who had this happen to them.

Although Flash Player runs badly no matter what, once I have an active Skype Call the performace is enhanced and the file plays smooth and with no problems. But as soon as I end the call, it's back to being shit. How exactly is making a Skype Call enhancing Flash Player's performance? Wouldn't having more programs running actually make it worse?

Why the fuck is 16:9 the standard aspect ratio for laptops? 16:9 is only good for movies and watching movies is shit on a small-ass 13/15/17 inch screen. If you want to watch movies then buy a goddamn TV, you know, that thing that's actually made for watching movies on, and Chromecast. 16:10, 4:3 and 3:2 should be the standard for laptops, not some meme aspect ratio for movies and gaymen kiddies.

Hey /g/
Do you download then watch longer YouTube videos, or just use your browser? I find the site to be obnoxious to use especially when it comes to longer videos and seeking through them so I prefer to just download them locally and then watch on a proper video player without Google's servers crapping out whenever they want.

I ordered my RN3P 13 December, thing has been stuck at my local sorting station for five days now. I know Russian Post can sometimes end up with empty packages, bricks or soap the same weight instead of a phone inside at sorting stations. A lot of my stuff was practically stolen under the Soviet Union shopping services. Should I be worried? If I get fucking soap I'm quitting /csg/ for good.

As for the Zircons, mine hit the floor a few times, and the right driver has detached so I had to shove it back in now two times. My guess is that it was not glued too well or it could just be my bad for having dropped it so many times to the floor. Still works though so no complains.

So Seagate is selling these "SSHD drives" ... but every one of them I can find has only 8GB NAND.
On their website, I found that they had 32GB NAND ones.

Well you could just use a small 8-32gb ssd then.
But a normie will use the laptop.

If it had two slots (17"), I would just use an SSD and Intel's "Extreme HDD" stuff that does the same thing.
But then again, this is a small laptop.

I can find plenty of those here in German online shops, so no, they are not discontinued. Your model ST1000LX001 is also available.

That drive is 5400rpm though, why not save the money and go for 7200rpm?
I only replaced a HDD with an SSHD once, but the performance boost was marginal at best.
