No.
Buy good headphones and a standalone mic.
>>
>>58599187
don't bother with headsets, just get some decent headphones and a desktop mic
>>
>>58599187
Headsets are a meme. Get a good pair of headphones and attach a cheap mic to it.

Why should anyone use this?
>>
>>58598960
Because it's entry-level and usable on shared hosting services and I can't think of anything that is more easier to set up.
>>
>>58598960
Because it's easy to use and people can spend their time doing more useful stuff?

Is the 65" Sony X850D worth buying?

Looking into buying a 4k tv and it basically came down to this and the Samsung 8000 series. I see a lot of negativity online towards the Sony compared to the Samsung but when I looked at it in Best Buy it looked pretty nice.

So am I missing out on much if I go for the Sony? I personally like the design a little bit more
I also really want those composite/component ports that the Samsung lacks
and the picture didn't seem all that bad, but I'm still not sure.

I have one and it's pretty alright. I like Sony panels better than Samsungs as well so go for it.

Samsung is infamous for hiring online trolls to post negative shit about their competition.

Wait. VPN's cost money?????? Im raging out of my ass right now. I was all siked out tonight to start setting one up. Been putting it off for months. I go look up how to do it and every tutorial: "find a VPN provider, 10.99/month this, suck my dick/year that". I thought one of the points of VPNs was to get away from "providers". Seems insufferably ironic. So can someone enlighten me and throw ice water on me right now. Is it possible to run a VPN off your router or comp at home and NOT have to pay someone?
13 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>58598864
Free VPNs are trash. Just pay the money, you fucking Jew. If you're doing something that requires a VPN in the first place you shouldn't complain about paying for it.
>>
>>58598954
What im saying is, what is a VPN really. Is it something I could run off a home server or something? What exactly are the VPN people giving me when I pay?

>After my trip in Hamburg, Germany, for the 33rd Chaos Communication Congress, I left Germany for the United States for a short vacation to visit family and friends. Upon my arrival in the United States, I was detained by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) where my belongings were picked apart and I was asked lots of strange, some offensive questions about my personal life. I refused to answer any questions and instead gave them the contact information for my lawyer. They demanded I decrypt my phone so they could "make sure there isn't any bad stuff on there".

Fun fact: pic related can be adapted to most desktops with at least a sandy bridge i3 and a 430w PSU and give you 200% or more performance than the PS4.

So my cherry mx blue keyboard started giving me double clicks more and more often so I took it apart, cleaned it and dripped a drop of alcohol inside each key, alcohol turned out to be vodka and not pure alcohol. And now many keys are sticky. Is there anything i can do to fix the switches?

Press shift five times.
>>
Try orange juice, the juice's acidity will wash off the sticky vodka residue.

vodka will corrode the metal parts. dont do it again.

I want to make an irc xdcc downloader, any suggestions on which python libraries could I use or suggestions to implement? The idea is using a Greasemonkey script to replace the IRC chat commands on the website with a custom URI, so clicking on that on the browser automatically starts the application to download the file. That would be really nice. Thoughts on that?
