Hey g, I have recently upgraded to a 8gb single stick of ram from a 4gb stick of RAM. I am currently running on just that single stick of 8gb but is it worthing re inserting my 4gb stick?Does it slow down my performance for my PC which i use for gaming? Thanks g.
Amendment: re-inserting so that i'd have a total of 12gb 1*8gb and 1*4gb.
I don't even know what the fuck you're asking me
4gb < 8gb < 12gb
Or am I missing something?

Help please! I had 2.6 GB of free space on my computer.
I torrented Season 1 of mash with was 4+GB intending to limit myself to one episode, once individual files could be checked off.
I used transmission-gtk if that matters.
Now, my computer says it has ZERO
Computer said it had ZERO space left.
I deleted the torrent and files from transmission-gtk, and it says I only have 203.4 MiB.
>>58594973
How do I find out where the rest of my 2.6 GB mysterious get sucked by? I wasn't downloading anything else at the time.
>>58594973
I'm using Debian Linux. Not Windows.
Use the mysterious terminal command that everyone here says is superior to a Windows program like space sniffer.
It's chromium - fast and it works. Now without botnetâ„¢!

what about the gold, platinum, and other rare earth elements?
>>58594596
>what about the gold, platinum, and other rare earth elements?
There's only atoms worth of those in them. You can't even extract those out.
If you crushed few million CPU silicon wafers you might extract few milligrams of gold/platinum.
is it possible to proxy my router so that whatever device connects with it it'll be anonymous on the internet?
>>58594558
Yeah install gentoo^H^H^H^H^H^HOpenWrt
>>58594558
Yes.
To be more specific:
I have a smart TV and live in Europe, Netflix doesn't stream certain shows and movies here but does in the US.
Would a US proxy setup on the router make my TV appear to be from the US?
Also, is Netflix's traffic HTTP? if not, would that be a problem?
What can I use the integrated HD graphics for if I already have a GPU? I have a 6600, and I annoys me that half my CPU die is being wasted.

Why did you buy it?

So, long story short /g/, I only got my PC and a laptop.
I wanna write personal shit in my laptop, in .word documents to be more specific, or maybe in notepads. I'd do it on my PC but my PC is not available to me when I'm in my room.
I do heavy psychedelics and shut down in my room, I can't really write shit with my PC because I live with other people and they don't know about my habits, and I could get kicked out.
Now, the problem is my laptop is not actually mine, it belongs to my company, I do work stuff there, I work in a very big corporate office (Big 4, accounting/audit to be more specific) and our IT guys supposedly "audit" our laptops but I've never seen anyone get scolded for browsing private shit on our work laptops.
Would it be safe if I write my personal shit on my work laptop, or would my employer know everything I type? Don't they have keyloggers or similar shit to verify what we're typing?
>>58594462
have you considered a low budget android smartphone?
>>58594600
Hard to type, I write long thoughtful walls of text.
>>58594462
>Don't they have keyloggers or similar shit to verify what we're typing?
No, they don't
I just wrote this API that can:
- Convert non-searchable PDFs to searchable ones
- Generate thumbnails for PDFs
- Perform OCR text recognition
- Some other shit
Is this the kinda thing people want or nah?
>>58594370
How much are you going to sell it for?
apt-get install ocrmypdf
>>58594384
Hopefully a million bucks
(it's free to use tho)
>>58594091
Well I would suggest bringing windows fully up to date before installing "Intel USB 3.0 Driver".
You might also try enabling "XHCI Hand-off" in bios.
yo there is a safe version of stylish right?
one that doesn't sell my shit?
what is it called?

Can I turn my laptop into a wired controller for my ps3?
My brother is using my ps3 controller for his system and I want to play with mine.
I have a laptop running Ubuntu 16.04. Is there some way to make the ps3 recognize input from my laptop as a contoller? I know I can use some 3rd-party controllers with both ps3 and PCs, so these technologies have gotta be compatible somehow.
Im building a PC. Just wana know whats the difference between two intel CPU: Intel Core i3 6100 Skylake Dual-Core 3.7 GHz and Intel Core i3-6100, Dual Core, 3.70GHz, 3MB, LGA1151, 14nm, 51W, VGA, BOX. Its my first ever pc building exp. Pic unrealated.
