Does it make more sense to:
run win7 native for gaming, install VM with fedora for everything that is not gaming
or
run fedora native, install vm running win7 for gaming

Anyone got the interview video of meimei?
>>58598149
why do people post things like that/selfies and then complain when they get attention
as if that wasn't the intention to do it in first place
Is it possible to upgrade a laptop? My wife's son has an Acer aspire e15 and he wants to get 60 frames on "overwatch" but the computer is not capable of doing that. Can I upgrade?
>>58598029
no.
Yes.
t. T420
>>58598029
Depends on your definition of an "upgrade". Adding extra RAM is usually not an issue, nor is installing a new hard drive. Anything else is practically impossible. In your case, it can't be done -- this laptop doesn't have a dedicated GPU, which means it's a piece of shit when it comes to any kind of gaming except Solitaire.
Why does /g/ hate this?

>Instal Arch with installer(Told myself fuck this I wasted 2 weeks for /g/ memes and this shit would be broken too)
>Install Win 10 Enterprise
>Get all drivers in few minutes
>Download thinkvantage updates
>Configure old battery manager from 7 to works for win 10 and TPFanControl
>spybot beacon + edit gpedit and services + powershell to clean it from useless shits
>Download my tools for development
>Start fucking coding and be PRODUCTIVE member of SOCIETY
>Then in free time enjoy my thinkped in fullest and play with gf games with LAN or STEAM.
FUCK YOU /g/ I feel like I sold my time to satan and he fucked me in ass all these times.

Most crypto books I come across even "beginner" ones are too advanced for me. I need one that assumes less mathematical knowledge and is self-contained. Any recommendations?

BRAAAAAAAAAAP
Hey some local boy is trying to sell my a pc with a i5 processor (doesnt know which one until he checks) 16gb of ram and 2tb storage for $400 us dollars. Why does this seem to be such a good deal? I was looking at building my own with an i7 for streaming but it would run me around 1800 for everything i want, so spending 400 and being able to stream some games seems a lot better. Is it possible?
>>58597742
It's probably a good deal because the hardware is 5 years old.
>>58597762
Well i don't know how much of a problem that is. I am currently on a prebuilt dell computer. It's an inspiron 620s with a i3 3.30 ghz and 6 gb of ram its about 8 years old, and im just looking for something i could stream games on until i can get more cash together to build something and this is the best deal i've seen.
>>58597742
I have ok internet for streaming if wondering. An upload speed of about 15 Mbps and download of about 95 mbps. I dont know what the average is but compared to my friends i have the fastest

what if a company made a tv, monitor and smartphone with 10/10 specs 10/10 design at a low price why doesnt anyone do this
>>58597692
Because if they made a smartphone with 10/10 specs and 10/10 design that means they can sell it at a high price. Why would they sell it at a low price?
>>58597707
because they would sell a lot more
it's not like it costs them a lot to make them
>>58597820
It costs like 300 to make nig nog
Hey guys, I've been trying to turn my phone and computer into a mirror. I tried a bunch of mirror apps but all they did was give me a bunch of mirror frames without actually showing my reflection. I've pretty much given up on my phone, but there's gotta be something I can use for my computer right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
(Pic unrelated)
Just scan a mirror on a scanner and set as wallpaper.
>>58597668
But will that reflect my image off of it?
>>58597655
If you have a webcam, just find a program to display it.
If not, buy a USB one.
If not, just use a fucking mirror in the bathroom.
there was a black spot on my monitor, my friend told me to press it so it would go away, but it only grew bigger and now he's not responding
what do I do?
looks like pic, tried to take a screenshot but it doesn't show
Press it harder, it should definitely help with that.
>>58597627
okay I'll try
pressing anywhere works? Or must be in the initial spot?
>>58597631
The initial spot is recommended, though whenever I get issues like these I just press wherever.
Okay tech fags can you point me in a direction of customizing my android with a new browser not a huge fan of the fox but will take suggestions and go

why are you not using https everywhere by default? probably the same reason.

>>58597599
Not OP but I am using HTTPS Everywhere. The question is: WHY is HTTP still accessible when HTTPS is turned on?
Oh, and not to forget, the SSL certificate is from CloudFlare. Fucking Middleman. Is hiroshimoot such a jew to pay for a good cert? My fucking sides.
Think of what? Finish your sentence, OP.
Do they still do the hacking stuff in season 2?
>>58597589
I'm about to start episode 3, and all he's done so far is act all sperg over his daddy/alter ego giving him shit. No hacking so far.
it legitimately makes me angry at how poorly this company is run
What are talking about? Microsoft has been great since Balmer left.

just one example: the switch to project.json and the switch back to csproj for .NET core...
Maybe I should ask you how you define "great"?
