First for BEST PHONE

Literally me right in this fucking moment, I want to root my phone so bad but I get scared everytime I see the (30 or more) instructions on the xda forum because I don't have the money to buy another one if I fuck it up in the middle of the process.
And it doesn't help seeing all these "I got error on x part, boot loop etc" being responded with "what version of twrp you installed? Do you installed the right drivers for the adb process?".
God why can't things be more simple like when you installed .nth themes on your nokia feature phone?
SHOULD I GET A ONEPLUS 3T OR WAIT
I HAVE NO PHONE RIGHT NOW REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
What does /g/ use to manage their passwords?

What would I use SPARC for? What are pros and cons if we compare it with x86 (aside of tons of software for x86)? ARM better suits mobile solutions, as far as I know.
>>58593870
bump please
>What would I use SPARC for?
mission critical enterprise servers, embedded systems and super computers.
high throughput with low complexity of operations, e.g. database, web serving, basic banking, etc. 32+ threads per cpu is a lot.
Other than escaping botnet what are the advantages of Linux over windows?
It's fast
It's free

What do people use to keep their windows drivers up to date? There are like a zillion different apps for my motherboard, videocard, watercooler, mouse, etc.
Surely someone made a apt-get style thing to keep all your drivers and motherboard shit up to date.
I mean on my asus rog mobo there are like 10 different programs to install. I mean jesus christ why is windows so hard?

>>58593717
Well the microsoft basic drivers seem to not fuck shit up and lets you do most things like download drivers for w/e you need, unless it's some proprietary network shit like e2200 (works good tho)
Give me some neat things other than gaymen I can do with my first build. i've been using a 400$ prebuilt for about 5 years now.
sims, programming stuff, whatever. I'm curious as to how i can flex this other than killing floor 2.
werks fine for me

I want to dual boot linux with windows but I heard that it is a huge pain in the ass to setup.
>>58593665
It's not, but Windows' bootloader will keep overpowering GRUB as the default bootloader.
>he still plays video games
>$1500 for some batteries and a PCB the size of a flash drive
The new macbook has got to be the cheapest to manufacture computer Apple has ever made. It's nothing but batteries and one tiny fucking PCB.

I'm not defending apple in any way, but you are a retard. go fuck yourself

around $2000 per machine

>what is the cost of 100% custom, and proprietary hardware
Oh, sure, it's great Apple is using that 100% custom and proprietary CPU, flash and DRAM. Oh wait.
How the fuck do I keylog my damn computer.
I just want to see what the fuck my brother is doing on my computer. I'd prefer if it was made in like notepad or something than a 3rd party program.
>>58593436
Just search 'free antivirus' and click on any entry after the third page. You'll get a keylogger.
get a camera and put it on ceiling and record keyboard and when your brother play you wait until done. then look at recording and type out keys he typed.

You need the right tools. I use mozilla mail but would like to try mh. Also I really, really need a way of annotating received mail. Ther eis a RFC but it hasn't been implemented. And the attempt by KMail does not count, that is the worst email client ever. Avoid at all cost.
