>Skyr (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈscJːr̥]) (pronounced "skeer") is an Icelandic cultured dairy product. It has the consistency of strained yogurt/greek yogurt but a much milder flavor.
>Skyr is a high protein, low-fat product, varying slightly between brands, unflavored skyr is roughly 12% protein, 3% carbohydrate, and 0.5% fat. It is high in calcium and vitamins commonly found in milk products
Skyr tastes great and has based macros.
Why aren't you eating Skyr RIGHT NOW?
It's expensive.
But fuckkkk it's delicious.
Expensive. Kvarg for life.
>not eating Chobani instead
OK anon, you lift alot but can you do yoga?
>>37039767
>tfw dick is too big to be able to fuck my gf in that position
Hold me brehs.
Are you cooking fish?
I like to come to this board to see all the things I'll never experience.
>tfw stretchmarks on upper-biceps
Not me, but you get the idea.
>tfw I don't grow fast enough to do that
>>37039562
>gained 25 lbs in 4 months from noob gains
>gained 20lbs in 4 months on a bulk
>never had stretch marks
Feels good man.
>>37039573
>tfw grow fast enough to do that on bodyweight exercises
what do you think is more immoral? killing two 100 lb people or killing 1 big fat 300 lb person?
I don't think body weight is tied to the morality of killing, OP.
>>37039377
Uh. It's not moral to kill either choice?
But if killing only 1 person was my choice. I'd have to kill the one person.
Is cannibalism involved? If yes, the 2 100lbs ones cause fat people probably taste like rotten flesh and smegma flabs.
Ive been working out for a couple of months now and i made some noticable gains but all of my fat is stored in my hips and my hip bones are wider than normal so ive been thinking if i should skip exercises that work legs and hips since they make them bigger ?
>>37039321
Your fat storage and type of exercises you're doing are not related to each other
>>37039321
Google "curl bro"
You should be ashamed.
>>37039367
i know but doing deadlift and squads makes hips bigger by increasing the muscle mass on that are a and i already have wide hips. I dont wanna end up looking
Hey /fit/ can we talk about protein shakes? I've never made one before but I just got myself a blender so I'm thinking about starting. Are they worth doing? What recipes do you like? Is it true they taste like cardboard?
ON gold standard double rich chocolate in water, shake it in blender bottle, refrigerate, drink. throw in a scoop of pb2 if you're feeling fancy. ta da
>>37039145
Here's my shake I take every morning:
>Blender Bottle (seriously get one)
>1 cup unsweetened green tea
>1.5 cup 0% fat milk
>1 scoop vanilla whey protein isolate
>1 scoop super greens dehydrated vegetable/fruit powder
>1 cup Greek yogurt
>1 tbsp fiber powder
Shit gets my day fucking LIT.
>>37039145
Just eat your chicken goddammit
What's the best beginner workout for strength/aesthetics? I have read the sticky, but after seeing people have who tried the SS/SL workouts struggling to progress I'm having second doubts
SS is alright, but it gets boring
I moved onto this https://www.reddit.com/r/Fitness/comments/37ylk5/a_linear_progression_based_ppl_program_for/
>>37039141
Don't do >>37039180, PPL is shit. Start with SS, actually read the book. Once you add chinups add skullcrushers and curls to your Friday workouts. Once you begin stalling (failing on the first set) switch to Candito's Linear Program. It's an upper/lower split, still has progression and is great for an advanced beginner.
how many aesthetic guys have you seen who started with SS or SL?
just ppl or bro split, like the vast vast majority of people with actual decent (natty) bodies
Who /summerbulk/ here?
Me.
Right here. Shit fucking sucks, should've done it in the winter.
>>37039027
me, lost 4 kg of pure fat in 6 weeks, now 84kg/187cm
I'm gonna make it familia
Hey guys I'm wondering what the best pre workout is
Determination.
One of these bad boys
im talkin supplements here
If I would buy only one bodybuilding book that covers all bases, would this be a good choice?
>>37038450
i have this, its really good for more intermediate lifters, it can be very overwhelming if you have literally no idea what lifting is all about.
if you can get it cheap from a charity shop go for it, but dont pay a lot for it.
>>37039761
+this
Tells you how to do all the relevant movements while utilizing the proper pharmacological enhancements.

READ
THE
BIBLE
What's your hang up on perfection and ideals, /fit/?
>Be sophomore in college
>Have 3.5 GPA in nutrition
>On track to graduate a semester early
>Want to go on to medical school
>Want to become competitive BB
>345 squat for 3, DL somewhere between 4 and 5 plates, 245 bench
>Complete focus on self-improvement
It was all great, but...
>Perfectionism breeds depression
>Wake up at 4am with panic attacks
>Can't get laid
>Become socially reclusive
>Miss classes
>Crying all the time and consider suicide
So what do I do?
>Drop friends
>Stop lifting
>Explore psychedelic drugs
>Switch majors
>Got into a fight
>Join BJJ club
>Play instruments badly
>Write that fantasy novel
I graduated a semester late with a science degree with a 3.25 GPA. I'm employable and moderately happy. I have a better than average body and a favorable personality. I wouldn't call myself depressed anymore. That, in and of itself, is worth every choice I made along the way.
Why are you trying to live up to an ideal, /fit/?
>>37038187
All I got from your post is that your friends were a bad thing in your life.
How do I stop caring about living up to expectations and do what I enjoy without feeling that nagging sense of inferiority?
>3.5 GPA
>perfectionism and self improvement
LOL
>tfw stalling on lifts
>bf getting high again
>Still ugly loser who can't get gf at 22
>tfw you hate your life and lifting is the only thing that keeps you going
What's the point anymore, /fit/
>>37038088
if lifting is the only thing that keeps you going then you don't have a problem
keep lifting
>>37038088
We're literally twins bro. Except I've thankfully found something else I'm interested in/giving me hope. Learning another language and visit the country/make some friends there
>>37038114
yeah, speaking with a broken accent and being spastic about unfamiliar social norms should definitely fix things
>tfw CHAD eats PIZZA whilst you spend HOURS at the GYM
hold me brehs....
>>37037954
Please go back to /r9k/, this is a Chad-friendly board.
Well, /fit/?
>>37037999
B, and then hope they all roll critical failures and die.
Fucking normies.
