Say I eat 5,000 calories a day, clean, spaced out logically; push myself to the brink in the gym, hitting every muscle group until I'm ready to collapse; do nothing when I'm off but eat and rest. What're the limiting factors in my growth? What determines how much muscle is built compared to fat? Obviously no one could maintain a regime like that, but as a hypothetical, what is actually determining the effort/results ratio?

Is it true you feel much weaker and your body hurts? It lifting harder and is it harder to make progress? Do you feel like you have less energy? Is it true your skin turns to shit really easily?
I'd like to hear anything you have experienced while getting older and any tips you have for younger anons here.
Personally I am 25 and I have nobody else in my life to ask these questions to.

haven't noticed anything yet, I expect I have maybe 5-7 more years or so before that sets in.

Can't confirm any of those personally so far. I've only started serious resistance training a few months ago, so it's not like I can really compare to how things were in my puberty tho.

my skin was always shit and I had occasional acne outbreaks if I ate too much sugar, it has gotten much better now the past year that I got in shape

So I was a huge into lifting a year ago but got diagnosed with cancer and have been on chemo ever since.
My oncologist keeps telling me to keep up chemo and not hit the gym (been a while since gains) but this guy is some skinny/beta looking fuck.
I don't know if I can trust such a faggot to run my life anymore and keep me away from my weights.
My gym bros also tell me that lifting and whey fight cancer better than chemo since your body gets stronger and shit.
Still deciding whether to take their advice more seriously than the doc

Sumo deadlift is not a real deadlift.
I've seen too many faggots on here who do only sumo dead lifts.
You're cheating yourselves , sumo dead lift is much easier than normal dead lift, power lifting comps shouldn't even allow it.
Sumo deadlift favors manlet betas with manlet leverages putting them at an advantage over more properly sized individuals. If conventional was required, almost all of the top powerlifter manlet fucks would be left behind in the dust since they aren't allowed to cheat anymore.
