First time I went to the gym I did incline bench to failure and couldn't get the barbell all the way back up, ran out of strength, and dropped it slowly behind my neck, struggling as it slid further down my back. Luckily a true gym bro saw me and ran over to help me before I snapped my shit up any further.

This was like 8 years ago, I can laugh about it now but it was hella embarrassing at the time.

When I first began lifting and I was several months in and had really drastic changes in body-composition I was 10,000% sure that I was EASILY going to look like Zyzz within the next 1-2 years at the very latest.

You couldn't have convinced me otherwise, I was so fucking sure that I had some secret special genetics. Why? Because I'd constantly see people on forums complaining about their gains. Little did I know these people were already passed their noob gains phase and were at that stage where gains were damn near impossible. I had no idea at the time and just assumed I must be doing something special and have the secret to it all unlocked.

Then soon enough my noob gains ended and I fell into a rut. I then spent the next 1-2 years being in denial about my progress twindling my thumbs thinking "zyzz body, anyyyyyyyyyyday now heh".

6 years in, still no where even close to Zyzz bod. If I knew the truth, I would have never started lifting and I would have just done cardio + calorie deficit and call it a day. Now I can't stop lifting because I don't want to lose the gains I have, regardless of how shit they might be compared to Zyzz, they're still better than nothing.

Goddamn, I just realized how great a food beans are. I heard they were the protein source of the vegan, and holy shit if that didn't turn out to be true. Get this, per 100g:

>21.4g protein

I have lived on mostly chicken breasts for I don't know how long, and decided to use it for comparison, again per 100g:
>169 kcal
>27g protein

It's a lot lower in energy content, but that's because the beans give you some carbs as well. But aside from that, the protein content is completely comparable! 21 vs 27! And I haven't even gotten to the part that really gets me going, I just wanted you to see that beans work for getting the proteins if you eat an equivalent amount, but get this:

>Chicken: 10€ / kg
>Beans: 2€ / kg

A FIFTH THE PRICE! This is game changing for me, being a student with fuck all to spend on anything. I don't care how gross beans turn out to be, I'm going to find out some ways to prepare them and if necessary learn how to like them.

Yes, but not enough to make me give a fuck. I rep 1/2/3/4 for 8+ reps without really getting tired, I run 5k in under 20 minutes and I can bike 40k without stopping. I still play hockey and don't get very tired by the end of my shifts, either.

Don't really smoke during the week unless I really, really want one. Withdrawal symptoms make me feel like complete shit though.

hey /plg/ my bench is stalled at 160 lbs I've tried Hepburn quadruple progression speed with Texas Method-style planned periodisation alternating between competition grip, close grip, normal grip and reverse grip on respectively DB bench, decline bench, heels-up ass in the air reverse band Slingshot wrist wrapped elbow sleeve flat bench, OHP, incline bench and strict 100% natty IPF flat bench on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while doing Smolov Jr. for bench and I'm doing 1/5GOMAD and ate like a whole chicken the other day, and sometimes I do skullcrushers instead to confuse the muscles and sometimes I skip a day of training to eat more like garagebro said I should do and I do a lot of mobility work with resistance bands and lacrosse balls and foam roll my lats and glutes but when I wiped my ass yesterday I felt a tingling in my right shoulder so I figure I need to throw in some heavy lat raises before benching to rehab myself a bit. Is this the natty limit should I begin to pin it to win it as I am a very serious powerlifter even though I don't compete or should I get a custom made bench shirt or maybe make like a curtain and hang myself btw bw 250 lbs sq 160 lbs ohp 80 lbs dl 225 lbs maybe I should switch to a PPL and start bodybuilding but I wanna add a bit more mass before starting my cut SAVE ME TRAPPY
