I have extremely limited shoulder flexion, preventing me from overhead pressing.
I've been stretching my lats pretty regularly for a while and it's a bit better but still not quite there.
Are there other causes of poor shoulder flexion that I should be looking into?

Pic related, apparently this guy had about 225 degrees of shoulder flexion back in his prime.

I posted about this a while back, but things have escalated a bit.

So my brother is in great shape, but he refuses to workout with me.

He constantly put me off with excuses. (I.E. When you can do 20 pushups, when we get to Summer, when we get to winter)

Early today I asked him again and he basically said no. I told him ok I'm going to join a gym/fitness class then and he sharply told me not to.

He told me he use to workout by himself all the time and that I need to just work with what I got by myself.

I have the highest respect for him. Like other than this one subject he's a really great guy.

I'm thinking about ignoring him and doing it anyways, but there's a part of me that's having a real hard time disregarding what he says.

I really dont want to disrespect him but I'm sick of struggling at this by myself making peanuts in gains.

Wat do fit?

Goo to the gym, skip the fitness class (assuming it's Zumba or some shit), lift heavy things repeatedly. If the fitness class is "how to use the gym" and you're never been to the gym, then it might be worth your time.

The fitness class basically puts everyone on the same routine but they adjust reps and weights depending on your needs and ability.

Lifting is good for health, so you should do it even if you don't plan to go around punching people and acting like a nigger.

Hello. I am currently detained in a mental institution by my parents, merely for having mild autism. Basically aspergers. Long story short, I signed power of attorney over to my parents because they said if I didn't they would kick me out on the street and I would be homeless. I'm 23 years old. As soon as I signed it over, they put me in a mental institution somehow. First off I'm pretty mad and this is fucked up, because I've never hurt anyone, I'm nice. However because I have aspergers nobody likes me and I know I communicate weirdly. I'm really self aware about the reality of my condition, but at the same time I can't stop acting like a weirdo.

I've always been fit but now that I've been in this institution for 1 month, I'm noticing I am getting really out of shape. Obviously there is no gym here. The food is COMPLETE SHIT. It's all breaded, almost all carbs, and almost no protein. All artificial garbage. I feel sick all the time just due to that.

I realize this is hard to believe, I'm not an idiot, I'm really smart academically, just impaired socially due to aspergers, but I swear this is true. Is there any way I can sue or anything because of the horrible food? I'm not insane or a harm to anyone yet I'm in here against my will and my health is degrading fast.

Guys. I fucked up. I have a question.

I ate my normal maintenance around 2300 cals of meals today. But I also ate a whole 750g jar of nutella, i couldn't stop since morning, and drank it with milk.

I kept it next to me all day with a spoon so i just binged on it.

I calculated that the whole jar was 4095 calories. So today i ate about 6400 calories without moving at all.

Does this mean that I added 6400 - maintenance at 2300 = 4100 calories to my body. Does it actually work like that?

Wont some of the calories just get shat out, or did it literally all get put into my body?

Will all that nutella i ate get converted in to fat, or since it's a one off thing i did, will it not actually affect my weight that much?
