Never go really heavy it quickly turns into you tossing the weights up using mostly your traps. For lat raises stick to around 12 reps or so, do them slowly and controlled, but make sure to actually fatigue the muscle(obviously)

I work part time at subway as a sammy artist. It's pretty much the same as going to the gym carrying the product through to front of house. Your arms get really tired as well when it's busy and that's why I'm getting big.
I also have a chicken sammy and my protein shakes when I'm breaks to help

what are calisthenic & isometric exercises ?
I'm 6"3, big build and on a cut at the moment(became a fatty) from 310. I've been lifting hard and eating clean, lots of good weight loss and gaining back my old physique fast. But I don't know if I'm "making it".
Here's the thing, when I used to lift, I lifted just to look good and get girls. Then I realized that while having a girl is nice, it's also a ton of work and that 99% of those relationships blow up badly. And a 100% of them blow up in your twenties. That aside, I fell off of lifting and became a bit depressed because I realized that I'd wasted a lot of time on relationships, being "social", drinking and having "fun". That I'd missed out on the important things(The future and building for it).
Now I'm back to lifting again after getting through that depression and am doing better than I used too. Yesterday I did Squat: 140, DL: 230 and BP: 110. I know the numbers are poor for my size, but today I woke up physically spent and I can feel the exhaustion.
I'd like to hit 500 on DL, 230 on BP and 400 on squats eventually. Is 6 months enough time to reach those targets if I double down on my training? I alternate compounds with accessory days and a take a break once a week on Sundays. I try to do cardio everyday either on treadmill after lifting, or walking/running at night.
I've been lifting seriously for about a month now and it's hard because I'm also trying to lose this weight, and the wisdom is eat big=lift big. But the fat I have is "free energy" right? I can still do a caloric deficit and improve on my lifts?
Gah. I feel so inadequate for myself.

That said I can no longer finance my diet of eating 100-150+ grams of protein everyday.
How fucked are my gains going to be? I'll be stuck only eating cheap stuff like rice and eggs, no more whey or meats because I can't afford it and parents won't buy it for me.
I'll be lucky enough to get 50-75g protein a day now. Are my gains going to leave me?

I've been lifting for 5 years come May. I e always consumed 150+ protein per day since I started lifting. I rep out 1/2/3/4, but I do a PPL-UL type routine now with a lot of bro stuff.

it won't be nearly as fatal as you're imagining senpai, you'll be fine though I'd recommend watching your volume as to avoid fatigue since you probably won't have enough brotons to rebuild your cells
