There are 168 hours in a week. Assuming you commute an hour a day total and sleep 8 and spend 1 hour per meal per day you still have 12 hours per day. You work either 8 hours Monday through Friday probably, leaving you 4 hours free time.

i assume you're talking about sleep? 8 hours is minimum to get good recovery. 9-10 is optimal. there were studies done on this and the group that slept around 10 hours had way better recovery than those that only slept 6-7.

5x5 is ok for an absolute beginner but afgter a month or two you should drop it to 3x5 because 5x5 becomes too much work too quickly basically requiring 10-15 full intensity work sets per workout
