No. You need protein to rebuild your damaged muscle fibers.

Also your organs would not function properly with that little protein, you would probably die let alone be able to get into a gym and lift weights.

Even fruit contains 5-10% protein on average, so unless someone feeds you table sugar and olive oil shakes that's never going to be an issue

As of right now I have a 1300 calorie, low carb diet. I like to stay active and although I'm not making gains, I'm trying to stay relatively fit while on the diet. Say if I burn 1000 calories in my workout, should I consume an additional 1000 calories to avoid starving my body?

I'm experiencing pain in my left wrist when I squat. My wrist is aligned with my forearm and the majority weight is resting on my traps same as always.

I came back to gym after being sick with flu for a week, reduced my squat by 10% to account for my week away, but I couldn't get one rep out without a tremendous pain in my wrist. Do I need to reduce it further? Any form issues I need to be aware of?

1. You're putting a shitty heavy load on your arms with bad form OR
