what the fuck happened to the emp storytime, did anon die?
>Frozen: 1.3 billion
>Tangled: 500 million
>Moana: 260 million
Why did it bomb?
It's still in theatres?
>>88383626
Brown people plus no lesbian romance
A shame because I would say it's a much more poignant film than Frozen or Tangled, as much as I liked those.

>Implying Frozen made all of that in three weeks

No luck on /tv/ so i will post this here.
Should i watch the Walking Dead tv show?
i read the comics after i played the telltale game and i really enjoyed it though i stopped reading after they left the jail.
The weird thing is i never got around to watching the tv show. Should i jump in or am i wasting my time? should i just go back to the comics?
>>88383583
Well if you've got the time then watch it, a lot of stuff is different from the comics though.
If you've got the time, go ahead and watch it.
It's not the best show ever but it's not the worst either.
There are some rough episodes(read: boring) but power through them because they're almost always followed by really great ones.
If you've got any more questions feel free to ask
>>88383583
yes, is a good show, some shit is just like the comics, other shit is totally different but still good.
Yaas, Queen! I mean, Yaas, Princess!
Is Svtfoe the best cartoon on tv right now?
>>88383280
adventure time is still on, but it is the best quirky magical show currently on tv now that SU has kinda lost its way
but ranking them is not really something that's going to make you happy, anon. just enjoy them all, and how great it is that there's good cartoons on right now
>>88383280
No.
The Simpsons is better
>I'll fly like a comet
>Soar like a comet
>Crash like a comet
>I'm just a comet
What did he mean by this???
>>88383256
His gimmick is space
>>88383256
If his kid is 14 then why was he doing an 80's hair band gimmick in what was around 2002?
>>88383256
He flies, begins to soar, and then crashes down as his world begins to crumble around him. And in this burning ashes, he realizes that he was always the same: never changed. He's still a worthless sack of shit who never amounted to anything until his scumbag ex-manager took some court-ordered pity on him. Even then she squanders his life by doing nothing productive; he's even just a supplementary parent at this point, his role almost entirely taken by the Gems.
Greg is the reflection of our inner NEET.
What exactly separates the old seasons of Spongebob from the new ones? Is it just nostalgia?
>>88383016
>drawn out jokes
>overuse of gross out
>pushing of spongebob being an annoying, clingy faggot and not simply a naive idiot
>patrick has moved towards "naive retard" to "idiot with asshole tendencies"
They had very simple plots (slice of life done wrong) jammed pack with memorable and quotable jokes. Post movie focus more on the story with not many jokes
>>88383109
The story is often not that good as well. For example, the ep where they are in the amusement park had various places where it could have been funny but it was so basic and plain.
My sibling and I actually predicted a joke from that years ago and we barely in middle yet iirc
Round-up of what's been revealed and/or leaked about the movie so far. How would you feel about it.
>Opening flashbacks to CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, with Peter Parker being picked up by Happy Hogan to go to Germany and being given a new suit; and then being dropped off back at home by Tony Stark after the airport battle and told he's not an Avenger, but is being allowed to keep the new suit.
>Flashforward to Peter's sophomore year at Midtown Science and Technology School, which he's attending on a scholarship. His best friend is Ned Leeds, and he has a crush on the wealthy and popular Liz Allan, who is organizing the school's homecoming dance.
>Flash Thompson is a wealthy, snobbish classmate of Peter's who's upset Peter often upstages him despite his poor upbringing and lack of dedication to schoolwork, which unknowingly to Flash is due to Peter's crimefighting activities.
>Peter and Flash begin competing for Liz's affections and both want to ask her to homecoming dance. They volunteer to join an academic declathon team to stay close to her, and Peter brings Ned along with him.
>Peter is also acquainted to Michelle Gonzalez, a sarcastic outsider who secretly has feelings for him and hides them with hostily.
>As Spider-Man, Peter is eager to prove himself as a hero, but ends up handling only low-level criminals, who are arming themselves with cutting-edge technology, a lot of which is Chitauri weaponry salvaged from the Battle of New York.

I'd feel like the movie is shit, desu.

Tony really is taking the coward's path, isn't he? He's not actually towing the line of pro-reg, he's just going along to get along, and projecting the image of legality, while covertly letting a kid be a vigilante on the side, and all the while, Cap sticks up for what he believes, and ends up a fugitive for it..
>Peter gets into his first fight with the Vulture and loses. Stark tells him to let it go and alerts Peter he's not being pursued by the Accords because he's keeping his head low and only dealing with bank robbers and alleyway muggers, and if he tries to breach out to enhanced people the government will crack down on him.
>Peter, Ned, Michelle, Liz, Flash and Liz's best friend Betty Brant go to Washington, D.C. for the academic declathon, where Peter gets into another fight with the Vulture and his men on a highway, which segues into a battle at the place where the declathon is being held. Peter is pursued by the police while trying to save his classmates.
>At some other point, the Vulture fights Spider-Man again and uses one of his gang's alien weapons to breach the hull of a cruise ship, which Spider-Man holds in place. The order in which those scenes happen is obviously not very clear at this point.
>It all culminates with Ned finding out who Peter is, and Peter losing several chances to be with Liz, who appears interested in him.
>Toomes figures out Peter's identity and has no respect for handling a kid. Vulture and Shocker eventually figure out who Peter is and attack Midtown during the homecoming dance, leading to a big fight in which Peter manages to barely defeat them using his old homemade suit, with none of the bells and whistles that Stark added to it when he recruited Peter to fight Captain America.
>Peter ends up going to the dance with Michelle, who arrives all dolled-up and turns out to actually be pretty cute. Door left open for a bigger relationship between them in the sequel, and Ned also scores Betty, while Liz ends up with Flash.
>Mason is arrested, so is Shocker, Vulture's death up in the air (on one side, that sweet Sinister Six money, on the other, that costly Michael Keaton salary). Either way Vulture acknowledges Peter is a good adversary.
What are some good comics/cartoons about a post nuclear world?

Why hasn't pro-human / anti-mutant ideology established common ground towards solving human-on-human racism?
How do mutants even coexist with other human minorities in the Marvel Universe anyways (outside of those who are an overlap of both)?
Bigots aren't smart enough to work on the concept of common ground, they come from an irrational thought process to begin with.
Just because they're Pro-Human doesn't mean they're necessarily concerned with shit like racism or sexism. Besides it'd really muddle the point if they had the villain who's an allegory for prejudice spout views of human equality between races.
>>88382129
Not necessarily true.
>>88382080
Because racism will never fucking go away. Racism is natural. Racism is a response, it is an extension of in-group bias. The same bias that has us prefer our family over strangers. While it's possible for individuals to find common ground, all races prefer being among their own kind and working for their own interest.
Hard as it is for many people to swallow, race isn't a simple case of skin color. The differences are steep down to the genetic level and those intrinsic differences will ALWAYS separate mankind.
You think mutants wouldn't be racist? Fucking please.
Okay /co/ what the fuck happened between Gwen Poole's and her parents?
>>88382065
They were written by a hack.
She got sent to comic world?
She had a bad relationship with them or is severely depressed.
You've never heard someone say "The world would be a better place without me in it" before?
