What's /co/'s opinion on the Weekenders?
>>88382762
all i remember is tino's mom
>>88382762
I think it's pretty rad. Can't say anything about the rest of /co/. The last thread I remember about it was only kept alive by arguments about the Ukraine.
>>88382762
I want to eat at their pizza restaurant.
just found out that this character is named gloria duong.
was she married to an asian guy?
Lori was a little hottie that's for sure.
She's probably like a log in bed though.
>>88383122
More like Gloria Dugong by the looks of it.
>>88383367
Unfortunately, yes.
Loved it as a kid.
Is kisscartoon kill? I wanna watch it now but kisscartoon apears to be ded.
>>88383122
I thought she WAS Asian.
i like pointy things
Tish is the best girl!
I think I have a chance with Lor
>>88383367
>She's probably like a log in bed though.
Sounds about right. Plus she's dumb as a rock.
Tish may be a little snobbish but I get the feeling she'd be more interested in genuine eroticism. Lor would just lie there while you do her then afterward belch and go grab a beer (and just for her, not because she's stingy but because it doesn't occur to her that you might want one).
>>88382872
I remember that thread, it's where >>88382831 got their image from.Or they're the anon that made it in that thread
>>88384874
There's a few torrents with every episode floating around
>>88386279
I have a DVD rip, can't post it now because I'm on my phone though.
>>88386261
I also remember some very spicy fanart that I can't find anywhere.
Chill
>>88382762
all i remember about it as a kid was the intro.
i think i would like it now after going through my teenage years.
>>88386138
Lor is the girl you fuck
Tish is the girl you marry
>>88387767
/thread
>>88382762

Damn good show.
>>88382889
Ahhh shit, they had the best-looking pizza.
It's Tuesday, comeback later.
I always wanted to nosh on the chili dogs.and Lori
>>88386358
>I also remember some very spicy fanart that I can't find anywhere.
such as?
>>88387767
>>88382762
Didn't like it as a kid. Don't remember enough to have a real opinion on it, though.
>>88391986
Man, if I had it I'd show it.
>>88392329
I'm saying what was it about? The context of the pic?Maybe I have it, I have some Weekender art saved I could share here.
>>88392408
Ohhh. I remember some aged up Lor and Tish on top of each other and some of Lor in a one piece swim suit.
>>88392758
Oh, well I guess I don''t have it. Although this one kinda fits your description so I'll share it anyways.
It did a good job of avoiding character stereotypes. It didn't play up Tino's neurotic tendencies or Lor's stupidity too much and outright played with the "cool black kid" stereotype with Carver as he's actually pretty uptight and tryhard.
Tish was the best at this because while being "the smart one" she wasn't socially awkward and was more defined by a wide range of cultural interests than a n overly verbose vocabulary.
They even did an episode mocking character stereotypes.
For a show that included all of the kids parents occasionally it also included different parenting styles for each kid. Tino's mom is a California lib/hippie who parents by talking to her son, Carver's parents are authoritarians who have strict expectations, Lor's dad is way too busy with all these damn kids to pay much attention to Lor specifically, and Tish's parents, while usually just "lol foreign" gags, seem to be traditional in that they get unconditional obedience if they get serious and demand it.
In case you hadn't notice, Lor a cute.
Tish > Lor
>>88393056
Lies.
Dumping fanart from some sort of butt-man to counter.
It plays the cute tomboy thing straight but right at the end of the series she started dressing in more girly clothes. Must be puberty.
>>88393056
Correct
I like to imagine that there was a new pizza business in that building every week that folded just as fast because there's too much competition and the gimmicks were too expensive. Once the building's empty someone else comes along and makes the same mistake.
That one waiter just gets hired anew every Monday because he has so much experience.
>>88393120
Don't need no fanart when the real deal is canon.
>>88382762
I was too young when it aired and wasn't browsing /co/ in my underaged teen years so I never watched it, and now I'm too old to enjoy a lot of kids cartoons without nostalgia.
>>88393614
I like to think that guy is actually the owner, but he's an eccentric billionaire who has creative whims which turn into different pizza shops every week or so.
>>88382762
in germany they are called the weekend kids
>>88393755
The thing is all the clothes Tish is wearing in that ep are Carver's. The fur, the dress, the high heels.
>>88393653
Do we ever get to her Tish's adorable bellybutton? DO WE?
>>88392947
>>88393614
Lor is superior.
>>88385763
underrated post
>>88393812
Would that make him the first trans kid in animation?
>>88394983
I neither know nor care. Point is Tino is doing the dickings.
>>88382831
Pretty fucking much, damn.
>>88395115
To Lor, I suppose.
We can't have a Weekenders thread die on a Tuesday.
>>88398086
That'd be absurd!
>>88382889
Which one?
>>88385763
I like to count.
Tino's Mom: Aren't you overreacting?
Tino: Mom, she's wearing pink.
Tino's Mom: Ooh, that is serious.
>>88393120
One of Lor's brothers: [literally handing Lor over to Tino, Carver, and Tish] She makes waffles, she says "please," she won't punch anybody. FIX HER!
>>88399804
What's wrong with pink?
>>88393739
I would love to own that shirt.
>>88382831
It was nice how she treated her son like a real human bean. That kind of mature parenting needs to be more common both irl and in media
>>88402965
Underrated post.
Wayne Motherfucking Brady did the theme song
And now you know.
>>88387767
Only because you never stick your dick in crazy
>>88392947
>seem to be traditional in that they get unconditional obedience if they get serious and demand it.
Yeah I knew plenty of girls like Tish growing up, from strict Catholic filipino families. Tish's family is from Eastern Europe, right? So probably the same kind of religious strictness, but with Orthodoxy.
>you will never go back to being a teen in the noughties
