You'll get your rent when you FIX THIS DAMN DOOR.

>You want door fix, Man of Spiders? Yes, I know these things you do. I learn how to find many secrets in old country. You will not pay rent? This is fair. We will take rent in other ways. When I was in old country, in Bosnia, my friends and I...we do things to women. Terrible things. Make them ugly women who will never be loved. Your friends, redhead girl and science girl...they will beg me to stop, as my men and I rain alternating blows of ejaculating and fists upon them. And when they are broken, Man of Spiders, when they are nothing more than shells...you will know that the rent has been paid.
>For this month
A powerful scene, and unexpected.
Has the DC Rebirth hypetrain slowed down? Cause, from all indications, it doesn't look like it has.
It started strong but so far nothing rebirthy has really happened to my knowledge
>>88394155
From what it was? Absolutely.
A lot of the books people were really hyped for (Batman, Titans, Teen Titans) turned out to be mediocre, none of the big plotlines from Rebirth #1 have been followed up on, and a lot of people are disappointed that there aren't more "experimental" or unconventional titles like in the early New 52. Plus, there's generally a growing realization that most of the books are decent-to-good rather than fantastic like they were bigged up as.
It's still GOOD, don't get me wrong - best thing to happen to DC in years, and the line is so much stronger than what Marvel's putting out - but it's not the mega-hypetrain thing that it was before.
>>88394155
It's slowed down from the beginning, yes. All we're left with now are good, entertaining comics.
Was Frank Oz right for turning this movie down and calling it "too safe"?
What did you think of the 2011 Muppets movie (and by extension, everything the Muppets have been in since then)?
Too safe
>>88393673
I really liked the 2011 movie. Maybe it did play it a little safe, but I think it stood on it's own, while still honoring the original. The music was fantastic and the plot/message was cute. I'd watch it again.
I actually really liked the second one too, it didn't really have any heart warming moments, but it was very funny, and again, the music was incredible. I'm a sucker for cameos too. They had a good progression in this one as well making sure it was more about the Muppets in a Muppets movie.
>>88393673
Frank Oz agreed to projects like Muppets from Space and a bunch of the really shitty TV movies like Muppet Wizard of Oz and Muppets Letters to Santa.
I can't really say he has the best judgment anymore.
What was the worst episode of the Golden Age of The Simpsons?
>>88376126
Marge Be Not Proud.
>>88376126
>What was the worst episode of the Golden Age of The Simpsons?
Not counting season 1 and 2?
Or are you operating under the Golden Age being season 3-8?
If the latter, then "Summer of 4 Foot 2" is infuriatingly bad. Lisa is such an obnoxious cunt in that whole episode, even by Lisa standards.
Or do you not count season 7 as a Golden Age season?
>>88376394
That was a great episode. Sounds like you get all your opinions from that one edgy MRA blogster that hates it.

oh boy, another one of these movies where exec came up with an idea and everyone must figure out how to make it a goddamn watchable movie!
Angry Birds turned out alright.

because it had some sort of structure, characters, video game.

Worse, one of the main people behind SU
It's basically just Barb from SU.
Venture Bros is cancelled
>no sauce
>>88392815
Eh, i'd be satisfied. Venture Bros has to be one of the most consistently good Cartoon Network/Adult Swim
Vicious lies.

That's how you ruin the leather and finish. Women should never be champions.
Why are Batman and the Joker so obsessed with each other, /co/?
Do they love to hate each other or do they hate that they kinda love each other?
Do they identify with each other?
Also, general Batman and the Joker thread.
>>88392751
opposite lunatics.
Sexy Joker is truly the best Joker. [Spoiler]Harley was right.
>>88392751
They understand one another more deeply than they're comfortable with.
So /co/ what are some of your family's odd history with /co/ material? I know my mum used to read Green Lantern because she thought Hal was hot.
Your mom has good taste OP
EVERYONE reads Green Lantern because Hal is hot.
>>88392715
That's one mum with God-tier taste. My mum used to read Archie when she was around 5 and had a small crush on Jughead. She got me into comics by giving me her Archie and Spider-Man comics.
Is Lupe's Revenge the worst King of the Hill episode?
It was definitely one of the most overplayed at the very least. Back in the day it seemed to be rerun more than any other episode.
>>88392712
>worst
what? Peggy's spanish testimony at the end is one of the funniest things this show gave us.
>>88392736
>My spanish teacher showed it to us in class to point out common mistakes in spanish by english speakers
>like how embarazada means pregnant, not embarrassed.
>>88392736
I've been learning Spanish recently and going back and rewatching that scene made me kek. It's not only funny and ridiculous but also a very smartly written scene. All of the mistakes she made are feasible for an amateur Spanish speaker to make, like how she said embarazada (pregnant) when she wanted to say embarrassed, and caballo (horse) when she wanted to say caballero (gentleman).
Movies really ruined this guy.
>Casuals will forever think he's a weak, shallow and pussy character
>Casuals will never know how truly badass and powerful Scott is
This makes me sad, lads.
He and rest of X-Men would flourish in MCU.
>>88392698
X-Men is impenetrable to casuals sadly. That aint changing any time soon
>>88392722
>sadly
It's bittersweet desu, it takes some dedication to get and understand all the convoluted storylines for the past 40 something years, so not everyone will be up to date with it as they are with Deadpool, the Avengers and what have you.
>>88392717
That's a terrifying thought.
