Cake thread!
Chocolate cake here!
I'll see that and raise you a black forest caek!
Thinking about making an apple pie, how do i make one that looks like this?
>>7064887
I feel like black forest cake should be delicious in theory, but I've only ever had the mediocre grocery store version. Never see it anywhere else.
How would you cook if you didn't have access to a kitchen?
I would use a small gas grill for quick cooking. Then use a fire pit for anything fancy.
>>7064783
I'd get a Kamado, a cast iron dutch oven and a cast iron pan.
>>7064836
>dutch oven
You need a blanket and lots of farts for that :^)
It's pretty cheap to make a little kitchen if you have electricity. Buy a microwave, a hotplate, and a toaster oven. If you want to go all out you can buy a mini fridge. This is essentially all there is to the kitchens in small apartments anyway. Works great for offices, cabins, campers, studios.
What is your favorite authentic chineese dish /ck/?
Mine are General Tso's Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken
Idk because I've never had authentic Chinese. Only Americanized shit.
This is bait but I still really like general tso's, there's nothing wrong with liking something that isn't totally authentic.
>>7064743
>Kung Pao Chicken
Considering the Chinese are busting people left and right for selling cooking oil made from garbage, I think the Americanized version of Chinese food is probably far more healthy than the authentic shit you'd find in some back alley in Beijing.
Pic related: this is what they're cooking with...
Food is fuel. You get picky about what you put in the tank, your engine is going to die!

Oh, great, another "if you don't like every food you're a child" thread. Unlike you, OP, I'm white and live in Canada. I eat what I like, and I avoid eating what I don't like. Now go back up your tree, monkey.
>>7064669
>Canadian
Makes sense, if I was sheltered I'd only eat poutine too.
What is the best form of potato (i.e. mashed, French fries, baked)

Alright. I've just been challenged by my daughter to go on a vegan diet for 2 weeks.
I said 'ok'. We had a big chat about food and mass farming - she gave very good arguments about mass production and how farming has been indusrialised. I'm a single dad (wife died) and my daughter is 17 and a vegan.
Here's the catch: I love fishing and hunting. And I eat what I kill. So I'll have to stop. My argument was based upon the fact that hunters and fishermen look after the environment and that humans developed faster as we had a protein boost.
Can you coo/ck/s give me any vegan advice?
A recipe would be most appreciated.
Pic is the river that I'm temporarily stopping my fishing activities.
Please give a tasty vegan recipe.
Start by killing yourself.
don't do it.
my sister went vegan and it tore my family apart. We couldn't have a meal without needing to make special accomidations for her, if we ordered in we would often have to get her food somewhere else, or if my mom cooked she had to make vegan meals that all tasted like shit and basically just pissed everybody off.
fucking creamy polenta with vegetable stock and mushrooms. bitch that isn't a fucking meal! thats barely a side dish, it isnt even a good one!

Anyone else enjoys pet food?
I love Pedigree Biscrok. They remind me of army ration hardtack from long ago, but better. Dips go well with them too.
>>7064537
wouldn't it be cheaper for you to just make your own hardtack and tweak the recipe to your liking?
>>7064539
It would lose the novelty of enjoying pet snacks.
>>7064537
A kid I grew up with used to eat dry dog food and milk bones. He convinced me one day to try a milk bone, it was pretty dry and didn't have much flavor 2/10.
So this is happening right now on /b/. Some guy is messing with the food at McDonald's.
Just goes to further enforce the disgusting industry that is fast food.
