Nanopatticales used to IMPROVE food growth -GMO 2.0-
Tomato growth boosted with a spray of nanoparticles
They used zinc oxide and titanium dioxide nanoparticles to boost the tomato plant's ability to absorb light and minerals. The titanium oxide increases chlorophyll content in the plant's leaves to improve photosynthesis, while zinc is an essential nutrient that also helps the function of enzymes within the plant.

The team found that directly depositing the nanoparticles on the plant's leaves as a very fine spray resulted in a much greater uptake of nutrients than if the nanoparticles were applied to the soil.

"A plant can only uptake about 20 percent of the nutrients applied through soil, with the remainder either forming stable complexes with soil constituents or being washed away with water, causing runoff," says Raliya. "In both of the latter cases, the nutrients are unavailable to plants."

In addition to the plants treated with the aerosol nanoparticles producing almost 82 percent more fruit by weight than untreated plants, the tomatoes themselves had an increase of between 80 and 113 percent in levels of lycopene. This is an antioxidant that gives tomatoes and some other red fruits and vegetables their red color and has been the subject of numerous studies seeking to ascertain a link between it and a reduced risk of cancer – none of which have been conclusive according to the FDA.

>eating wings with person
>they use a knife and fork thinking it's less messy
>they make a giant mess in the process
>peck and tear at it henishly
>all their "finished" wings still have plenty of meat
>they complain that wings don't have enough meat for a meal

Please tell me I am the only person who knows somebody like this, because if this is a common thing these people need to be killed

You actually go out with friends and order your own plates of wings as a complete meal?

And then your friends complain that there weren't enough wings to make a meal?

This is honestly one of the most unrealistic posts I've ever seen.

I'd like to start cooking for my one year old son, or even preparing him some nice foods.

He just recently turned one and he can eat most foods now.

He liked some butternut squash I made him, and he also liked some chicken I made.

What's tasty to a one year old?

I have no clue as his mom is a twat and kept him from me for a while.

Any ideas as to what nice treats I can whip up for my son?

I can't be around kids at all at this point, so I don't really have any real life adult perspective. But give your kid whatever you eat and expose him to as much food as possible at a young age.

The one thing my parents did right was feeding me adult food from a very young age (like, I don't remember a time where there was a vegetable I didn't like). If it's something spicy you obviously need to make a mild version, but exposing kids to all kinds of things at a young age is the best thing you can do for them. When they get old enough to say no it's too fucking late.

The one thing I don't understand is how my parents trained my brother and I to eat out at restaurants. Some of my earliest memories are eating out and I have no recollection of being told to behave, and how to use silverware and put my napkin in my lap and everything else. If I ever have kids I'm going to need to ask them about that, because I somehow knew how to act in a restaurant since I was 4.

What do you guys bring for work or school? Do you care if your food goes soggy, and if so, what do you do to prevent it?

Going to pack a sandwich with pb, bananas and honey tomorrow. I don't have access to a microwave so warm lunches will be hard.

I make a batch of nutritious and delicious muffins at the beginning of the week and use them like rations. Last week it was oatmeal-apple-cinnamon; this week it's hazelnut-pear-cardamom.

I'm allergic to Gluten, milk, soy, and have a corn intolerance.

Hello friend, Im here to help.
Next time you have the tummy grumblies, try this household classic.
Absolutely ZERO gluten, ZERO milk, ZERO soy, ZERO corn, and it will stop life being hell.

Why do my tortillas keep coming out crumbly?

I'm trying to make oat flour tortillas and they keep coming out crumbly like pie crust.

People on forums say it needs either more oil or more water, but they still come out crumbly even after adding as much oil as possible before the dough gets greasy and as much water as possible before the dough gets sticky. I even let the dough sit for 30 minutes after it's mixed like the recipes say.

Try it without any oil. Just oat flour, salt and water. Also knead it for a few minutes and let it rest for a while before you form into tortillas and cook them.
