How do you like your eggs on the morning?

In the afternoon.
Eggs are too heavy for the morning meal, IMO.
I like them most scrambled, stuffed or as quiche, though.

Just found out these got cut a few months ago. I had them for the first time in ten years back in 2011. Now I know how it feels to lose a good thing.

The other day I went to a local Mom and Pop restaurant that has a soup bar. I put my newspaper at my place and headed to the soup bar to get a bowl. I also ordered a BLT when I got back to my booth. nyway, there are 2 old men getting soup and talking and the one old man got his soup and walked away and the other old man started talking to me. He said cruises are the best way to take a trip. They offer so much, he told me, they really are the best vacation option.
As he got his soup and walked away I thought is this right? When I'm at a soup bar I'm there to get soup not be indoctrinated about vacations and ocean cruises. I just want to get my soup and then eat my BLT. How I spend my time off from work is my business.
I think restaurants should post a sign by the soup bars about what can and cannot be discussed while waiting to get your soup.
What do you think?

That's sad you're not comfortable talking to others, that you dismiss another person's inane topic as 'indoctrination'. Social isolation and paranoia is a serious problem you should seek help for.

What kind of bike bags does /ck/ use for visits to the farmers market? Front or rear panniers? What design is best for carrying home seasonal vegetables and local dairy and meat from independent sustainable local farms? Is Ortlieb simply too waterproof for food? Does your significant other object to Carradice because the leather straps are non-vegan? Do you judge people who leave the produce exposed for all to admire their triumphant return from the market? Or have you evolved enough where you are non-judgmental about such things?

If you saw someone doing what's shown in this picture, would you stop him and explain why cardboard panniers are a poor choice for sustainability?

This thread is for cultured and progressive people who eat and live sustainably. Cagers who irrationally hoard six month's worth of third-rate frozen food at Wal Mart and similar places based on some apocalyptic fantasy, I invite you to not post in this thread as there is plenty of room on /ck/ for your point of view. Just not here. Thank you.

Is Jewish food considered to be good tasting to normal people? I could see how their dietary restrictions could force them to come up with really good stuff to make up for it, but I can also see how it might make the food incredibly boring. What are some good Jewish foods?

Well yeah, you can say that about anything. You don't really love anyone either for the same reasons, or like boobies just for the sake of them being boobies. You like them because you're genetically predisposed to being nourished, not because boobies are magical or ethereal.

Has /ck/ found any great recipes online that you'd consider staples now?

I've been using Chef John's wing recipe a shit ton, though I'll switch out to try different sauces here and there (the one he posts is bretty gud though).

Any other success stories? I'd love to hear of other sites with good recipes.

Oh yeah, here's the wing recipe:

Noob pizza question here..

How would I make "foldable" pizza? As in the bread isn't cooked so crispy that it'd crack if you tried to fold it? I use my own dough, do I need to do something different with that or perhaps bre-bake the crust?
