I don't really understand the question, but I've been recently making broccoli and potato soup (pureed) that I've mostly been eating cold.

Throw some leftover bits of meat, or croutons, or slices of tomato or avocado on top, and maybe whatever hot sauce you feel like.

It's pretty much Winter here, but I'll do cold soups year round.

How long are you cooking it for? My tomato sauce starts out acidic but after cooking it for long enough it gets very sweet

Pan searing takes a somewhat long time because you'll have to cook them at low heat. Oven cooking will require less work and no need to worry about undercooking, as long as you follow the standards for oven cooking whole salmon fillet. Oven cooking also tastes better because the unhealthy fatty parts get absorbed and the others stay inside, stored in the salmon.
