Potato baking in the oven at this very moment. Cheddar, butter, bacon, chives and sour cream. Six pack and a cigar while I wait. Listening to sports talk radio. Jose Bautista got his clock cleaned by Texas Rangers 2nd basemen, R. Odor.

What are some tasty and easy meals you can make yourself and then freeze for later? I've been having good success with freezing my own burritos.

When you recook, fry them. Ez
>>
>>7677705

Ill be a bit honest with myself...despite working in many top establishments I really have no fucking clue what the trends are. I want to bring this lady I like out but I don't know where to bring her that would really WOW here...but I don't even know what places are impressive to bring someone to. I'm not looking for a specific restaurant maybe just a type of place what cuisine is really going right now?

Korean Barbecue is pretty in right now. Not like where the Japanese chop up vegetables in front of you, but where you cook your own thinly sliced meat and stuff at your table.

Latin America is, historically, very primitive in all regards. There isn't a lot going on ingredients-wise. The Spanish and Portuguese (with the help of the French and others) made their cuisine what it is.

Jesus Christ, I started laughing so hard I had to pause the video, he sounded dead inside when he was saying it.

What food surprised you when you first ate it?
For me it was a Elvis sandwich.

Smoked Pork Belly

I went to heaven that day
>>
>>7677311
I tried to think of an answer that wasn't a sandwich, but falafel was clearly the best. I could give up meat as long as that was in there. I'd say that's a bit of a surprise, since I fit the fat Southern carnivore stereotype.

I used to buy four orders of baba ghanoush every week, but they changed the recipe. I prefer what I make at home now.

There's also this Indian-run food truck that has excellent vegetable curry and curried lentils. Honorable mention: stir-fried vegetables from Chinese takeout.

Basically, that vegetarian doesn't completely suck, but it probably is loaded with MSG and fat.

/ck/,

Many of you will express disgust, but this is a delicious way to run through a quick BBQ, without spending all day monitoring your meat.

Pick a good wood. Lamb goes pretty good with Mesquite. You only need enough to burn for about an hour. It's not an all day thing like brisket, or ribs.

Wash off your wood to get the gunk off.

bacon bits

Anyone else hate most pork products unless its bacon, sausage, dried sausage?

Ham is okay occasionally, pork chop, pulled pork is great. But everything else is disgusting.

I actually like pork but dislike bacon

I even like fatty pork I just don't like the way bacon specifically is prepared

pork is a great meat for barbecuing and putting in soup
>>
What if you just prefer Turkey Bacon/sausage?
>>
>>7676915
No bacon at all? I've never met someone that disliked bacon other than for religious reasons or vegeginarians.

Usually it's all about crunchy vs disgusting flappy half cooked bacon.
