I've been wondering for so long and the only conclusion I've reached is that the majority of asians is lactose intolerant, and thus can't consume any milk based desserts (aka most of them, at least where I live)
But I'm sure there's better reasons

Some shill anons said this new "gelato" was good so I decided to try it. it was like $6 and tastes like ass.

I hate this sort of ice cream, it has so much shit in it so it never melts and is foammed up to the max.

I've seen all those news reports about vegan parents getting their kid taken away for child endangerment because the kid is so underweight. I think even a few of the children have died of it.

I'm not against jailing vegans for forcing that on their kids. But we should also jail moms that raise their kids on tendies and koolaid.

I think it may be possible to raise a healthy baby vegan, but the parents should have to pass a test about the nutritional needs of children to be allowed to do it.

Well, it has more than the recommend ed daily allowance of carbs and triple the allowance of saturated fat, but the calcium and iron really even things out.

You do realize flour, potatoes, and dried beans are a thing, right? They give you practically unlimited calories for almost nothing.

Is it out there, sure, but it's entirely anecdotal and not observable at all on a large scale. Statistically insignificant.

I like dry red wines, some are better than others and even year to year can be quite a bit different due to grapes not growing in the same conditions etc.
I'm no cork sniffer though.
I'll swirl my wine and smell it before taking a sip, but that's about it.
