How do you drink your coffee biz? I prefer mine black.
Black, no sugar. I can make it on the run at jobsites (work as a machine operator). Make it bloody potent too

How often do you enjoy a good burger at five guys?
about as often as i get laid
i haven't had sex in 8 years.
Five Guys is absolute shit tier food.
Had it once in 2010. Never again. 13.50 for a tiny single cheeseburger. Pathetic. And it didn't even taste that great.

Just took this bad boy out of the oven, followed this recipe to make it: https://www.theperfectloaf.com/best-sourdough-recipe/
fair warning though if you use this recipe, unless you have the exact same flour brand as listed AND you have your wet dough technique down you will have to use less water then what is listed.
i dont have access to that flour so i ended up only going as high as 81% (original recipe calls for 86%) hydration and even that was almost too wet.
so what are you baking?
the ingredients are good. But I'm not a fan of hard, crusty bread, or recipes that take a lot of work. At the end of the day, it's just bread. I prepare and bake my bread as quickly and efficiently as I can.
>>8008367
>I'm not a fan of hard,crusty bread
raised on wonderbread?
>>8008378
i freeze my bread, then toast slices in an oven. So it's redundant to bake crusty bread then toast it again, which will make it too crusty.
how do you guys make rice interesting?
most of the time i just use soy sauce or hot sauce
Start with good rice.
>>8010433
furikake, or homemake it with sesame seeds, etc
mix some shit up senpai, you can experiment with tiny little ingredients
Sriracha, sesame oil, soy sauce and pepper is my usual go to.
Why do we cook are food?
Obviously I know WHY we cook our food, but every other species on the planet eats without cooking food and lives normally.
Why can't humans? Is it because we have evolved knowing how to cook? Have our stomachs and immune systems gotten weaker? What gives, why do we have to cook everything?
>>8021628
we probably found it was easier to digest when cooked, or tastier, and maybe we even used to get sick occasionally when eaten food raw. somewhere we decided cooking some things are better. we probably cant handle raw stuff like we used to, but i dont think our immune systems got weaker. its more specific though
Oh the good old days when you could light a forest on fire, watch as it fell before, and claim your reward of cooked animals and herbs.
Agriculture.
Wild animals and plants are totally edible raw. Our agricultural processes make then unsafe. The reason why cooked meat is tastier is because it's more boo available to us. Evolution makes us like foods high in nutrients (double edged sword making us love fatty sugary salty foods), so naturally we prefer cooked plants and meat.
Raw food diets aren't based on science btw.
Why is Mexican food so delicious?
lard
>>8014072
Because you're eating restaurant food and not what actual Mexicans eat.
WA LA
Do you concur or do you consider this wrong/dated?
If so what should be different about it?
>>8014039
whole grains aren't any better than polished grains
>>8014044
They are objectively of greater nutritional value.
>>8014039
Seems reasonable. The good thing about it is that it's somewhat vague, leaving out specific information about calories because that varies from one person to the next. I think the note about oils could be expanded a little more. It only mentions butter, olive and canola oils. Peanut, vegetable, and corn oils are pretty common too. It should at least mention one of those as healthy or unhealthy. I wonder what it would say about rendered animal fats too. Personally, I use a fair amount of chicken fat when I cook.
Is soup a food or a drink?
both
>>8018262
Is boba a drink or a soup?

Why do asians and hispanics love to put mayo on so many of their dishes?
Is this some kind of a non-US thing? Or a poor thing?
yeah mayo tastes good but its by no means healthy
>>8016234
You should see what they do in the Netherlands.
>>8016240
Britain too right?
So is it every country that isnt the US?
Because we eat hyper-unhealthily so rarely that drowning an occasional dish in mayonnaise is no great sin. Try fixing your everyday diet so that you can then eat the occasional mayobomb without concern.
Tell me everything you know about making amazing burgers.
How do you season the beef, how do you cook the patties, in what order do you layer the ingredients, what if anything do you do to the buns, etc etc.
>Select all images with a storefront
Leave me alone!
add some ranch to the meat, promise you it works wonders
>>8012929
Use decent chuck with 27% fat content. Add some ground lamb if you can find it. GENTLY form the patties, and form them LOOSELY.
Find real tomatoes, not rubber tomatoes. Use a mandoline to shred iceberg lettuce and onions like 2-atoms-thin. Put a slice of cheese on the bottom of the patty in case it leaks.
Don't overcook the patties on the charcoal grill. That's about all there is to it.
>>8012929
grind frozen butter and liver in with beef chuck or sirloin, season with salt, pepper, and msg.
