ITT: homemade versions of things that are never as good as the original
Homemade rice krispies can be good but they never turn out as amazing as the store bought ones
I wasn't aware they were available at the store. The first rice krispie treats were all made at home. I think you stumbled onto something new.
i think they taste better than the store bought ones if they're fresh and still slightly warm and the cereal is slightly toasted.

have you been living under a rock since you were born?
Hey Guys, last year I made jolly rancher candy apples and they were a hit. the year before I made mexican lucas chilli apples.

How about caramel and topped with chopped peanuts?

Soda somehow around it
Use whole onions instead of apples.
I'll be eating at Hardee's tomorrow for the first time ever, I am thinking of getting the Mushroom swiss burger.
can anybody tell me if Hardee's is good or not?
Have you never been to Carl's jr? Are you from the united States? And it is one of the better major fast food restaurants. Their chicken strips are good

This, they went from one of the worst to one of the better ones after the complete rework.
There meme of the month thickburgers are usually pretty decent, i like the sauce on that 'moonshine' one.
Good choice.
It was my favorite six dollar burger way back when.
What are my fellow anons' favorite go to foods for when the temperature starts to dip. It's got to be sauerkraut and sausages for me. A good beer is nice too.
Now I'm going to have that on friday

You should. It's a very under rated dish. Make sure you throw in an apple or two.

Personally, Lamb Vindaloo is my favorite, followed by Lamb Boti.
>>8276793
same. lamb vindaloo is my favorite Indian dish.
Don't crucify me but the frozen spicy lamb bindaloo (and tikki masala and butter chicken) from Trader Joes is actually pretty okay. Every other form of pre-made Indian food I've tried has been awful but TJs knows whats up.
technically not because it's less than 51% actual cheese
>>8276717
>>8276740
Wrong.
It depends entirely on who makes it. Some processed cheese technically qualifies as it's above 51% and has no dilution. Some don't qualify even with 51% because of added ingrediente, and the rest fail because it's under 51%.
If it says "cheese" you can rest assured it has little added garbage and is 51%+ cheese. If it says "cheese product" or something similar, you are not eating cheese. And the lower the price, the smaller the percentage of cheese.
>>8276779
show me one example in that packaging, that's not a "cheese product", and i'll believe you
What do you think of my steak, ck?
Pan seared ribeye, rare, served with frites and shichimi togarashi.
>>8276439
I like rare steak (just grilled one last night, myself), so I would eat that, but it looks like you took the heat too high. But that's unavoidable when your steak is less than an inch thick, so I'm not going to criticize. (Thicker steaks are actually easier to cook to perfection, imo). If you like eating steak on a regular basis (and by that, I mean every 1-2 weeks or more) I suggest buying a whole ribeye or new york strip loin and having it cut to spec if you have the room in your freezer. I just did that last week. This time, I bought a whole NY strip and had it cut into 1 1/2 inch steaks. It was $85, but they cut and wrapped them for free, and it was still $2 less per pound than buying them individually, and it came out to 11 steaks total. Just a suggestion.

For some people, 'value' is enough. As long as they pay under 7 bucks for enough food that they should hate themselves afterwards, it's irrelevant to them that it's the equivalent of ingesting a big middle finger.
What can I make with beef strips?
I don't like stirfry and I have very little ingredients in the house (not enough for a stroganoff)

Beef jerky?
just a though
Beef à la stroganoff, as it was originally known, is made from small cubes of beef, not strips. Educate yourself, pleb.
