Finally went here today
COMPLETELY overhyped
Crowded, cramped, and expensive
The burger was no better than a burger I could've made. I should've gone down the road to Burger Tex, those Asians running it know how to make a good burger.

Where? Who? Why should I care?
Unusual but delicious combinations of food
I'll start
>Chips and Tabasco sauce
>>8392906
If those are the types of corn chips I think they are, they're really good. The yellowish ones are better though.
>tortilla chips
Try hot sauce on rippled potato chips
Wine and watermelon.
Does /ck/ like matcha?
>>8392837
Halfway decent as an ice cream or as a latte, but I can't get over the chalky texture though...
Uiro or dangos with matcha are great.
Yep! I keep a large jar of it for tea and cooking. It tastes so refreshing.
god damn this is good

Why does the cup say aids?
Is that a Quarter Pounder with cheese, large hot fries and an ice cold Coca Cola?
>mfw I see kids drinking coffee
old fogies need coffee for energy to get out of bed and do stuff. kids already have energy! they don't NEED caffeine.
>>8392444
to be fair it's probably only 15% coffee and 85% sugar water
Caffeine doesn't do much for me. I just enjoy the flavor and to have a hot drink.
Italian Night Club, extra oil/vinegar, extra hot peppers. Pic forthcoming.

does your dog bark when he comes to the door?
please let us know how long the delivery takes anon
I get a slim #1 with a double portion of bacon and extra provolone cheese
yes I'm an American
Okay so school me on alcohol drinks. The basics, what I should know, popular drinks. I seriously only had vodka, beer, and some jack Daniels through out my life and I do not know anything else but I wanna learn.
Which of the three did you like best
You learn about alcohol by drinking. Personally, I'm a fan of mug vodka, bourbon, and a West Coast style IPA.
>>8390618
I liked beer the best. I had blue moon, rolling rocks which I liked. budlight and Budweiser tastes horrible. Vodka was okay. I had that with mostly oj, cranberry juice, and some other shit. Jack Daniels was the strong but it's whiskey so of course it will be.
is kobe really that good?

As a natural and unmodified product, it's superb.
However, the tenderness can be mimicked by nearly any cut of beef via slow cooking with nearly any cut of beef.

What the fuck is wrong with his face
>>8390305
I don't care how good Kobe beef is, can't watch this fuckin spaz.
I'm curious about your French press method.
What I do for a single cup
>Coarse grind
>1:16 ratio (16 grams coffee/ 250ml water)
>Boil water, let it sit so it goes down to around 92-94*
>Pour all of the water
>At 1min. break the crust on top and stir it up a little
>Let is sit for another 3min.
>Press
I can't notice any difference between letting it bloom for 30sec before pouring the rest of the water or not.
Did I fuck up for picking the Mini mill over the Skerton.
I heard the spring in the mini makes for more consistent grind.
You have to let it bloom for 32 seconds. Those two seconds make all the difference
>>8366678
I have an auto-grind programmable coffee maker because I couldn't deal with a Freedom Press in the morning. 4 minute steep though is pretty standard.
Bought a tube, cheap knock-off but has hell of a kick. I eat sushi once in blue moon, what else can I use Wasabi with? Any common western foods it goes well with?
anything you'd use horseradish or spicy mayo on
>>8394703
I eat sandwiches with plain horseradish and nothing else. I think I'd be climbing walls if I tried the Wasabi. I don't know what they did to it, but I nearly choked on half an inch squeezed out of the tube onto a piece of sushi.
>>8394703
If it's a cheap knock-off, the "wasabi" probably is just green horseradish
>Eat a large meal
>Start hiccuping uncontrollably
What are the most annoying consequences from different meals/drinks/amounts of food?
>>8394351
Little-known fact - you can halt hiccups immediately by having someone massage the inside of your rectum. It sends nerve signals down the same vagal pathways that tickle the diaphragm, and cancels them out.
>>8394355
Intriguing.

Whats your favorite late night snack?
How fat are you OP?
>>8394266
>peanut butter toast.jpg
>not even toasted
Cornflakes with ice cold full fat milk
Do you have some semi nasty habits that turn up good?
I often boil my poirover water in a pan last used for rice without washing in between and the coffee gets a nice thick texture.
When I hand wash dishes I pretty much always do them immediately when they're still hot, and in those cases I almost never use dish soap. I just use a sponge and hot water. It's turned out just fine for me this far. I replace my sponges as soon as they begin to look a little gross and it's a lot cheaper than dousing every little thing in soap when it's just coated in a thin layer of the same shit you are about to eat anyways.

ATTENTION ANNONS.
Anons,
Here we have another stupid thread that deserves to be ignored and dumped.
It's not cleaver and it's not funny.
I don't mind crazy irrational threads that are intelligently composed trolling funny threads.
BUT THIS SHIT THREAD IS OF ZERO VALUE.
Not funny at all.
Responding to it is not Advisable.
>>8394224
There's research the says that hand washed plates/cups/utensils build your immune system because it isn't super sterile like a dishwasher
This guy comes up to you and wants to put your day's meals onto a tray
What do you have for him
God damn, 4chan in general is so bad during the late hours. Aussie shit posters really are a thing?

Late hours?
It's 08:17, pal.
What simple recipe did you fuck up today, /ck?
I made about a quart of potato salad. Didn't follow a recipe, just threw together kewpie, golden mountain, kim chee juice, palm sugar, rice wine vinegar, black pepper, and scallions. Turned out pretty good, but I was drunk and wanted to go pass out, so instead of letting it cool I threw a lid on it hot and steamed it, so there was half an inch of water at the bottom when I came back later. Still pretty good, though.
>>8394072
was that supposed to be carbonara?
>>8394072
I didn't fuck up any recipe today, but I'll tell you what I made for lunch.
Jasmine rice spiced with cardamom powder and several drops of soy sauce
Black beans spiced with bay leaves, cayenne pepper, salt/pepper.
Salmon fillet sauteed with butter and garlic and some light rosemary. Added lemon post-cooking
Styled the rice as a U-shaped hill
Poured the beans in the middle
Put the crispy salmon on top of the rice
