It concerns me that that's a professionally produced photo from KFC's ad agency, and it still looks like shit.

I think they rushed this, to take the wind out of Taco Bell's naked chicken chalupa, establishing themselves as the premier "fried chicken in place of another item" restaurant. Where do you think they'll go from here? I'm thinking bowls made out of fried chicken, for side dishes like mashed potatoes or cole slaw. Or maybe pot pies made with fried chicken crusts. Fried chicken drinking cups would be good, since most everyone buys drinks, but they'd have to create some hydrophobic chicken coating to keep it from getting soggy, or mixing oil into the drink.

It is, but it can be hard to get some of the more exotic dishes. It's more common to find a westernized version of the dish rather than an authentic version.

Problem being.. too top heavy.

Are you letting the coffee boil after it has been brewed? That can easily ruin coffee out of the pot. When I use mine I leave it on just above medium until you can hear bubbling and see steam leaving the spout. Mine comes out decent but I might just have peasant taste.

the brand is entry level. I would use what you got for cooking or maybe in a cocktail like a sidecar.

If you want to drink brandy neat, look for the same brand, but buy the XO version. It's a good place to start.
