If this is true, you are a retard. It's like my mother (God rest her soul) told me when I was young, "if you invest in memecoins, prepare to have your sphincter mercilessly pummeled"

A strange game. The only winning move is to short cryptos that run up in price over a short period.

do you guys think nursing is a respectable field
25 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>1220660
For a male? Eh... Imo not so much.

I mean you'll never go homeless as a nurse but it seems kind of unambitious and setting the bar quite low.
>>
>>1220660
I could never do it, my non existing tits aren't lactating.
>>
>>1220660
Respectable? Absolutely. Gotta work hard and take difficult courses in college, and you make decent pay after school.

Admirable? No. Not much risk involved, and you will always be seen as a bit of a bitch whether that's true or not.

I know guys in the nursing school that are basically chads though so if it's something you really want to do I wouldn't let other people's opinions hold you back- being unhappy but 'respected' is a shit way to waste the one life you are granted.

When I make a deposit at my bank, am I loaning them my money?

Second question

Do banks place all their funds into the stock market and invest it? They never had money sitting around, right?
>>
>>1220622
>Do banks place all their funds into the stock market and invest it? They never had money sitting around, right?

They obviously have some money sitting to pay their customers if they attempt to make a withdrawl. Read up on fractional reserve banking.

all these questions are very easily google-able, just search them. No point of people typing out long-winded answers when this stuff has been covered at least a few million times.

if we pay the government taxes for government services (ie police department) and then we get a tax refund, how are those services effected?
12 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Tax Refunds are basically for you over-paying your taxes or other credits based on your contribution to society which is accounted for.

For example spending $10,000k/yr on tuition or having 5 children gets you money back because you're contributing to the economy and society for a calculated amount
>>
>>1220608
even if we overpaid our taxes that must have some effect on these services?
>>
>>1220617
Why would it?

They're not giving you money out of nowhere, it's excess money after these services have been paid already.

>If we overpaid
Not if, you ARE overpaying taxes according to the government if you receive a tax refund.

Hey /biz/ my little brother goes to a meh university that is probably shit tier by your standards and is majoring in fucking marketing.

On top of that he has very little social skills and is on the spectrum like most of you guys, thing is I don't think his grades are spectacular either. SO what the fuck can he do once he graduates? SHoudl I just push him to do as many internships as possible? My family has some connections for PR and marketing type internships in NYC so maybe he can do that?

I just need to know how to help him, because frankly he is just not as lucky as me. What do

Tell him to fucking look for his own jobs. if he is in college you shouldn't be helping him.
>>
>>1220601
>My family has some connections for PR and marketing type internships in NYC so maybe he can do that?
then do that. why are you making a worthless thread here.
>>
>>1220603
To be clear he hasn't asked for my help, but that's just sort of been our dynamic since we were toddlers. Do you have any siblings anon? I'd give him my left arm.

Also i can afford to help him out because one thing he's very god at is not fucking things up. I know he will never be in debt, and will be extremely frugal until he hits the grave but I don't want my parents money to be wasted on college so that he end up working at cvs or some shit

Don't do it. Plenty of collegeconfidental threads will tell you it basically means nothing.

Try to join a honor society sanctioned by your university (such as honor fraternities).
>>
>>1220548
Legitimate honor societies do not change any money for anything.

Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma are two reasonably well-known honor societies that are free if you qualify. And the most well-known is Phi Beta Kappa, which is also free.

Don't waste your money with those monkeys.
>>
>>1220556
collegeconfidential threads? I haven't been on /biz/ in a while. Their letter's all 'we're a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and a member of the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs...the Zeta nu Chapter was dounded at SCSU (where I'm attending) in 12/1993'

None of this means anything? I'm not surprised, figured I'd come poking around for confirmation.

Did not notice how slow this board is, might respond only tomorrow as it is very late here and I've got a couple of interviews tomorrow.

Some information off the bat to spike curiosity:

>I've handled accounts well over 300,000$ (private or corporate, persuaded to deposit by me)
>Located outside of the U.S
>The amount of bullshit going on is unbelievable
>Binary options are being kept low by governments and censorship (as well as paid professionals jacking servers, and maintaining crazy good SEO) as it is amazingly efficient at getting billions a year circulating worldwide markets.

Anyone here in the precious metals business? I'm thinking of dealing in gold and silver as a side-hustle but not sure if it is worth it.

I'm returning home to Australia after having spent some time working in the UK. I want to bring all my UK savings back into my Australian bank account.
Should I just do a transfer via my bank, or go through a third party like one of the options in pic related? The amount is probably gonna be ballpark £10K
Thanks

>>
is that it.. 10k just put it in your pockets
>>
>>1220349

Transfers get delayed, take time to clear and can get lost.

If it were me id get a cashiers cheque/bank draft form your UK bank. Deposit it once you get home.

Safe and simple.

Well /biz/ I just started looking through the coin collection that my grandfather left me a year or two ago and just counting the $1 presidental coins I have around $1,300. That dosen`t include any of the proof sets or 1oz silver coins in the collection.

Because having a shitload of assets rotting away under my bed is a stupid idea I figure that I should sell all of it off. Does anyone have any experence with selling a whole bunch of coins?

Anyway thx again ill check em out
