Anyone play? Anyone pro or semi-pro? Hoping the US can play with the rotw soon, plenty of loose money there.
Snape?

try playing live instead
online is too shady nowadays. too many bots with too many sites allowing bots to increase traffic, too many people colluding or buying timeshares of accounts. GTO computation on the spot which isn't allowed on any site. yadda yadda segregated liquidity pools and withdrawal fees and whatnot
just better to play live
>>1222520
yeah just go to your local casino with a friend and play as a team and clean up
I got $100 for my birthday. How do I turn that into 1 mil. I want to be like Gordon Lizard from Wall Street.
put the 100 in your pocket and learn how to trade

What?
Is there good money to be made in execution only derivatives broking?
I should clarify, this would be a job role...
aka discount broking
the silence should be a good indicator that nobody here knows what that is, and any advice you get will probably be bullshit. we trade penny stocks on robinhood and shill meme cryptocurrencies here. I'd suggest consulting with an actual financial institution.
So this Uber is apparently going to be the next big IPO valued at like 60 billion or so. Lets talk honestly here. When Uber launched it was pretty much illegal in most cities, it is starting to be legalized but it seems like a shady organization in my opinion and I have no idea how it got so big since it was illegal in the first place. If Uber becomes legal then why not the equivalent of uber for a drug sharing service? or how about a prostitute sharing service? I think future investors are going to get screwed once people wake up. This is all my opinion.
Most countries it runs in have no concerns of outlawing it.
didn't the ceo said its unlikely they will go public ?
beside UBER isn't a tech company or a product company so 60 fucking billion is INSANELY over priced
that said the price will Hike as soon they launch if they go public then tank after few weeks if not days
They are going to have a lot of liability if they continue going forward. They have lawsuits from rape victims, taxi organization and government organizations.
Anybody here have any experience with writing and selling ebooks?
I'm currently writing a simple ebook on learning to program (emphasizing the "learning" part), and it will probably end up around 30-40k words.
I'm an ok writer but from what I've seen, what matters is the marketing strategy more than the content. So anyone here have any advice on how to properly market ebboks?
I'm looking into affiliate websites like clickbank. What else should I be doing?
>inb4 invest in knee-pads and mouthwash
>>1222397
Sell on Amazon, do the whole SEO shit, good cover, make it free for a limited time so your "sales rank" increases, this makes it go closer to the top of search results. I've heard that something in the $3-4 range is a good target price for shorter ebooks from unknown authors.
Of course you'll want to do it on some language that's popular. Python, Javascript, Swift, whatever. Make a book on writing mobile apps. Tons of people dream about making the next Snapchat, sell them a dream.
>>1222729
Well my book is more on learning how to learn than on any particular language. I teach the fundamental concepts of programming but using plain English and pseudocode. I figure there are hundreds of books out there for any given language but very few on how to actually learn those languages efficiently.

>I'm currently writing a simple ebook on learning to program (emphasizing the "learning" part), and it will probably end up around 30-40k words
In what language?
What credentials do you have to be giving any advice?
There's thousands of books on programming by people with Phds that people torrent. Why would anyone want your shitty book?
Where can I buy one?
If there isnt an underground market for this, Why not?
I imagine there is huge potential in counterfeiting basic level degrees that could net a non-retard a 40k entry level position.
I know the very concept is going to chap the asses of the /biz/ people who went to school but that wont change the fact that this is a good idea.
Its not like businesses dont train you on their systems anyway; its not like anyone who isnt retarded cant do an entry level 40k job if he had a fake degree.
Talk to Jonny at the dollar general on third street; she (chosen pronoun) will set you up for $2500.
Why would you buy a fake degree?
Is a fake degree that you paid someone else for worth more than a fake degree that you made yourself in paint?
How do I get traffic on my blog?
I don't have the funds for advertising, so basically I'm looking for a DIY, non-spammy way to attract attention.
>>1222288
...Business related because this is part of a growing content-writing venture. I'll sell ebooks once I have a primed audience for them.

Does anybody else have this problem?
I have a degree in computers and make my living from working with computers. Therefore, any time I so much as look at a computer off hours, people accuse me of "playing." Doesn't matter if I'm integrating PayPal into a storefront to make some extra money or fixing the complainer's own printer that they've fucked up by, fittingly enough, playing with it.
So anytime I'm over at my parents' house for a weekend (they live a few hours away), I have to do absolutely nothing until my mother goes to bed at 7PM or else I hear about how all I do is "play" on the computer.
Should I stop helping them (they're elderly) or is there some way to pound it into their heads that there's a difference between work and Angry Birds?
>>1222285
It's not about them actually thinking you are playing and all about having a way of being shitty to you.
>>1222285
try r9k

This is likely.
So I just became powerful, how do I use my power to rule the world?

I'm all in DWTI.
What do you fags think about oil markets? Where is oil headed short term, long term, etc..
Any UWTI bagholders here?
>>1222198
ive been in uwti for a couple of months now
the position is up about 25% to date
and im anticipating around 200% more gains
when i've already missed 200% gains
what's moving oil is the same thing moving all the commodities: the dollar and the cycle of interest rates.
I won't make any moves until something happens with Saudi
I'm all in long for SRAQU and waiting for Mark Papa to make a merger (which can be as long as 2 years)
A lot of upside in that stock with very little downside if you have the patience
I've got about 5000 euro in SDRL. It has been going up and down like fuck over this year I've had stock in it.
I went in with a plan to hold on to it for at least 2 years so let's see where the oil price goes.
CFA. Is it really worth it?
>>1222191
who knows
God dammit
>>1222344
Do you work in the field of asset management? If yes, then I would say it is worth it because it is relatively well-respected in that field.
Boycott Target petition has over 1,000,000 signatures, lost over a billion dollars, investors have pulled out, and stocks have tanked.
Why do big businesses feel the need to get involved in social/political matters?
>>1222189
Being a pro golfer who has a family image to the public, all the while sleeping with over 150+ women. Might cause losses in the billions.

I think OP is referring to the bathroom disaster.

Noone will recognize this stock. IMO it's completely undervalued. Let's hear your guys thoughts.
Shitty penny stock that has already dumped

it's russian it's a scam
t. american
>>1223092
just cuz of it you say its a scam???
>>1222133
guys, just use your common sense. Would any major company like Sony or Nissan or whoever they come up with use an unreliable, unpredictable, vulnerable "system" of private individuals' computers to store information for USD 40/GB instead of reliable, well-proven and safe, redundant, existing systems of professional providers for about cents per GB? I mean I have seen some really big lies in MLM over the years but this must be on the top 3. There is no real product that could be sold. There is only people paying an entry fee and getting paid until there are new suckers to enter. Once there are not enough new suckers, it all collapses. It is amazing how many people fall for this.
Anyone buy MSFT after the dip this week? I just got in at 49.78, gonna hold it for a couple/few years as their cloud offering gains market share
>>1222118
It was this price in the 90's, dude. I love msft, but this is as good as it gets.
i have restrictions due to where i work but in a month when i can get a position im going long. 5+ year horizon might just do it in my IRA if i still have some cash buying power. and then i'd consider opening a separate 1 - 2 year horizon position as well. im very bullish on MSFT long term and medium term.
>>1222125
idk man, they're pushing everything to the cloud now. ease of access will grant them a bigger market share in the coming years when their platform unifies a bit more
