It's a company that produces and sells miniature chairs. You can't sit on the chairs, they serve no purpose except looking pretty. They would be about the size of pic related, but not be shitty looking. Think beautiful dining room chair miniatures. They could be a collectors thing, then branch out into other chairs. Miniature office chairs, miniature thrones, miniature deck chairs. The possibilities are endless.

Pretty dumb from a collector's point of view but whose butthole did you pull thus from?

My own butthole. There's a ton of shitty modern art so I thought I could get in on that.

no one should really be making more than a couple hundred thousand a year. You have way more than enough.

That's why we have taxes folks, they help and save people every day.

Why is your agent taking 20% of your income? That's just fucking retarded

For long term investors, now is the time to buy Lockheed Martin stocks. The F-35's production is ramping up for the next few years. LMT has solid dividends and massive competitive advantage (being part of the military industrial complex). It's a no brainer investment.

Peace

I remember when I went to see one of Jordan Belfort's talks as a birthday present, yes a birthday present, and he came off with a great line.

It was something along the lines of, "You have to raise your financial worth" or "You have to increase your financial gain"... Or something along those lines.

It was a very clever sounding Jordan Belfort-esque line, anyone here know what it was?

So, I have few spare bucks on my paypal account, but unforunately there is a problem with my bank (and my country, which is on capital controls), and I can't link my bank account to my paypal account.

Is there any way I could get those money off my paypal account, or I'll just have to spend them buying stuff with paypal?

Hey /biz/, so let's say that I take $5k and put it in a forex account with 2000:1 leverage and then trade with the $10 million. Way I see it there are 2 scenarios:
>1: make hundreds of thousands in a short time
>2: declare bankruptcy and never pay the debt off anyways

Is bankruptcy really that bad? Most of these highly leverage forex brokers are sketchy and not even US based so they might have a harder time ruining my life

yeah but like what would actually happen if I was wrong...the broker I'm looking at isn't regulated and is based in bulgaria...could they actually have my property seized or wages garnished? what would really happen to me? jail?

Because they're a great fucking company in the making. The only thing keeping their price down are the amount of cucks shorting for 5% profit after they failed to ride the pump up.

Screenshot this, at least $2 by November.

where do i go to find progressive minded people to help fund my startup?

I don't know where to post this

But have a very good idea for a new media technology. I guess im looking for best course of action.

My ideas are mostly developed, i have an idea of what my final product will look like, but I don't know how to create and build it

>i don't have the credentials
Or the know
What would be my first course of action?

>media technology

>television
>radio
>internet

a new platform for media?
>>
>>1406381
I'm gonna be really harsh on you but by the sounds of it you don't really have anything at the moment.
>My ideas are mostly developed, i have an idea of what my final product will look like
That language you've used "most" "an idea" doesn't fill me with confidence. It makes it sound nebulous and underdeveloped.

The cut and paste advise is.
>Write it down. Always remember ideas, even if vocalized are worthless. Written down they potentially have value

You say you don't have credentials. Well, find someone who does have credentials in the area. Get them to sign a NDA when you tell them about it. If they like the idea they'll offer their name and advise you on what to do with it, especially if you offer them a cut or a advisory fee.
After all, if your idea never comes to fruition, what do they lose? Maybe some of their time.

Now you can go about raising money for a prototype.
Contact a graphic designer and a filmmaker about putting together a slick "sizzle reel" to wow people into investing in your company and product. Whatever it does.
Or just slam the sizzle reel on Kickstarter.

I know you won't like this answer, but if you want your business to take off quick then one option is to find a cofounder/partner; someone who is older and more experienced would be your best bet, specifically in your industry. this person will likely have the connections you need to succeed.

sure you can learn it all yourself, but how long will that take? time is the most valuable commodity humans have. is your time worth 50% of your company? that's your decision

good luck

What are the secrets to making a deal?
Who are the greatest negotiators in history?
The Trump? Bernie Ecclestone? Steve Jobs? Henry Kissinger? Cardinal Richelieu?

Here's a few Bernie Ecclestone axioms I've picked up
>"Apply pressure while the other party is still adding up the sums."
>let the other person put the price on the table first and get him/her at a disadvantage straight away.
>"Let’s not have a meeting, let’s have a decision.”
>"act now, threaten later"

Here's one on Kirk Kerkorian
>Kirk did deals the old-school way. Back in 2008 I was buying the Treasure Island casino, which used to be owned by MGM. I met with Jim Murren, the company’s chairman and CEO, in the Bellagio and offered him $700 million cash. He called Kerkorian, who was still the biggest shareholder–and clearly the boss. He told Jim he wanted $150 million more. I said no thanks and walked out.
>Kirk being Kirk, he got on a plane to talk it over face-to-face at the Bellagio. I said, “Kirk, I think we’re just too far apart.” I was at $700 million, he at $850. “Why don’t we split the difference?” I said. “I’ll give you $750.”
>“Do the math,” he countered. “That’s not half. We’re splitting it $775.” He might have been 92, but he was sharp as ever. On his way out he turned to me. “Don’t let the lawyers screw this up.” They didn’t: We did the deal for $775 million on the dot.

Is this really how it goes down?

You go to the bank and take out a big ass loan using the money you already have as collateral. Hopefully you have $1Million lying around somewhere.
Now with your big ass loan taken out, you are untouchable. You owing the bank something like $100Million is not your problem. It is the bank's problem. If you don't pay them back, they can go under, so they will let you take your time with whatever the fuck you're planning to do, much like how people are reluctant to sell stocks they bought at $300 that crash to $50 because its only a loss if you sell at the lowest point.
Use the money to establish a business. Buy a couple assets to seem legit. Pay yourself $30-50 million out of that loan you took out as a CEO. Then gamble the rest of the money with your business operations. If your business fails, declare bankruptcy. You still get to pocket the $30-50 million you had. Now go back to the bank (or a different bank if the last guys dont like you anymore) and peddle a new business venture. You now have even more money to put up for collateral, and those guys probably want to make up for their losses on your last failed business. So you get another loan, use some of your assets from last time, and start up a new business. Always remember to pay the CEO his fair share for running that business each time before you declare bankruptcy though!

>mainly working security to live and pay off loan reminds me where i dont want to be.

the more i take time to think and hear what other people are saying the more i become uncertain of a lucrative future in the industry.

I really respect and value anybodies time to reply to this as i am at a loss.

these are the options i can think of myself but really value any input you can give me.

a small part of me feels like i can still make it work making small little start ups like burger vans or selling proseco at events and so on.

i have considered going on to do a masters in hotel management or marketing.

i am also considering the thought of doing another undergrad degree in something which is guaranteed to be lucrative.
i would care less about these subjects but it would give me a more clinical approach to doing the job such as Law or Finance.

So I had an idea /biz/

>Be homeoffice fag
>Buy some item e.g. laptop
>Scan receipt
>Return laptop a week later for refund
>At end of FY write the laptop off my tax as a business expense
>On the off chance they audit me I actually have the receipt this time

Tax department will go bankrupt.

Why can't I do this?
3 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
uh I mean won't they just give you a new receipt saying you returned it?
>>
>>1406262

You don't have to return that one...
That's definitely a scam that would work, granted you don't buy 10 laptops per year.

In my country taxis do this all the time to minor their taxes. They know someone with a garage and every few months they "do" something new on the car.
