Hey /biz/, so let's say that I take $5k and put it in a forex account with 2000:1 leverage and then trade with the $10 million. Way I see it there are 2 scenarios:
>1: make hundreds of thousands in a short time
>2: declare bankruptcy and never pay the debt off anyways
Is bankruptcy really that bad? Most of these highly leverage forex brokers are sketchy and not even US based so they might have a harder time ruining my life
sounds like a good plan.. go for it

yeah but like what would actually happen if I was wrong...the broker I'm looking at isn't regulated and is based in bulgaria...could they actually have my property seized or wages garnished? what would really happen to me? jail?

They'll probably send someone to your house to kill you. I don't know why you think dealing with those people is going to result in consequences you can get away from.

how would my death get them their money back? and how would they get away with it?

I was thinking make an LLC based in delaware and make the brokerage account under the LLC
OP if you really think about it you have nothing to lose

"this is a stupid idea, and to prove it I'm going to post an article from 2008 that doesn't relate to the idea whatsoever unless OP wants to write off petty day trading losses in 2008"

"this is a stupid idea and here's an article to summarize why the post that I'm responding to is stupid."

so what would happen to me if an illegitimate bulgarian company wanted $10 million dollars from me. It wasn't addressed in the 2008 article
