Worth using Vanguard for anything but my IRA?
I'm just now learning to manage my money and I want to put this 55k I've got sitting in my checking account somewhere more useful.
>>1406988
thats the worse place to put it desu.
just hold onto it and learn more about money management.
then when u feel u are ready, start by dipping ur toes in the water.
the most important trait in this game is self control and lack of spookability

And how much money have you invested with what return rate? That's what I thought fucktard. OP, Vanguard is better than Fidelity on most types of funds. Just make sure to diversify efficiently and don't be scared of high-yield bond funds for decent returns during volatile periods for equities. Enjoy.

Did you ever gain things through illegal methods? I'm curious to see what /biz/ has done (or does) for extra cash.
I ALWAYS used to shoplift little things in highschool. Must've stolen at least a couple hundred worth of stuff. Stopped after 18 because it wasn't worth being charged as an adult and I also actually have money now.
>>1406928
I wouldn't call it illegal, but I've been on craigslist buying up swathes of Wiigames for incredibly cheap and making a 15%/25% profit on selling them to gamestop. I'd definitely call it sleazy.
I pirate EVERYTHING even though I can easily pay for it
Sold cocaine and cocaine accessories
Is there any fiscally sound about these or is it just a moneysink for the well to do
1) Buy house
2) Fill with antiques purchased from yard sales
3) Markup house by 10%
4) Resell to hipster
5) Profit
We all want to get rich here, but what would you if you were?
I would get a hairtransplant and rent a house in santa monica/malibu/hollywood hills.
>>1406864

>hair transplant
>jaw surgery
>accutane
>buy house in Cali and in a less liberal state so I don't go crazy
>be a NEET off my savings pursuing an acting/modeling career
I'm tall enough that it could work if I was rich.
>>1406864
>keep living normal day to day life
>buy a reasonably priced house to live in
>buy a decent car that isn't fucked up
>put some in safe long term stocks
>probably buy 1-2 condos and rent them out
>make sure I never have to report to some fucked up feminist boss and work a 9-5 like my life depends on it ever again
>>1406864
>Mercedes S-class with a driver
>Large house in the south of France (or what's left of it)
>3 dogs
And I'd keep working, I get depressed when I have nothing to do.
redpill me on palladium /biz/, why is it going up for the last 60 days. from 540 to 700 how did we not see this ?
Because they only care about the latest pump n dump shitcoins and penny stocks.
I would think some part of it is the combined Gold/Silver price rise as well as the increase in interest of other metals like Lithium and Cobalt rubbing off on it as it's a fairly small market.
what does it mean? Your current maker/taker fee is 0.15/0.25%
If i buy its (invested money) - (invested money * 0,15) ??
pls help
bump for the newb
If you TAKE the order (i.e. the order exists on the books and you match it), you pay the taker fee percentage on the trade. If you MAKE the order (i.e. you set a sell order higher than the highest buy order, or set a buy order lower than the lowest sell order) you pay the maker fee percentage.
So you net trade amount - (fee * trade amount)

k so we know that recruiters work for the company to find the perfect fit. They don't work for the job seeker, I feel that I need to have one that does, even if I have to pay. I just need to move out of Canada, into the US where job opportunities are ample but this is the hardest part for a non-citizen. I know i get lots of call backs when I apply for jobs in texas for example while getting 0 call backs for jobs applied for in Canada.
I want to do one of the following:
Hire someone as a recruiter to find me a job. (are there legitimate companies/people like that?)
Bribe a person to sponsor me through an H1B visa most ideally, or a TN visa for at least 1 year. Even if it doesn't work out, i would have the benefit of working in the US and NETWORKING in the areas where jobs actually exist.
tl;dr
is it possible to hire a recruiter to work for you
is it possible to set up an arrangement where an employer sponsors you and pays... then you pay them back for the sponsorship costs + the risk of hiring a newbie with minimal experience?
any thoughts on this biz? trying to think outside the box.
>>1406827
Fuck off we're full
>>1406845
um No.
If a US citizen can willy nilly come to Canada for a job under the TN visa, so can we. I would prefer it if we tear up that agreement.

I have 0.2BTC in Yobit and 0.8BTC in Poloniex. What do I do with it?
At least buy trumpcoin with the .2
>>1406823
I'd rather buy the panda or ruby coin rather than Trump.
Somebody should make a goku coin.
Post your Questions for the Trump AMA tonight and we'll critique and improve them.
Mine:
"What's your opinion on crypto-currency? do you believe that it'll eventually become the norm and do you believe the federal government should legitimize it as an official form of payment?
btw, if you have a Trumpcoin wallet would you post your receiving address? I want to send you some."
Maybe ask him if he would consider taking donations in cryptocurrency
>>1406757
you're right, maybe I should say "If you're willing to accept donations in crypto-currency I'm more than willing to send you some Trumpcoin"
he's more likely to look into it if we say it that way.
>>1406755
I'm considering just sending him an email about this shit so he shuts you faggots down in the next few days or so

What is the adjustments to net pay? Is that payroll looking out for me to not get taxed as bad or what gives am I being jewed here
>>1406665
You cut off the image too soon. Need more info.
I presume adjustments to net pay would be post tax adjustments which receive no tax relief. I'm just guessing as gross pay adjustments like pensions are tax free
