Okay, so, i'm in my 5th year since graduating high school. I've passed and failed a couple courses in community college but im working a steady job and have a place of my own with my girlfriend. How do i get into the business of making money? Do i find a good business school and go learn there? If so, what should i be prepared to be aiming for with my education? im sure there are many tools in business affairs- which would be most useful to study? i want to be successful and change the world with the power i am able to amass.

You're not in a position to enter business through school. Shouldn't have just rolled in and shit up community college, if you had done flawlessly and been willing to take on some debt you could've gone to a good business school and made the necessary connections to succeed that way. Now you're fucked unless you go ahead and start your own business.
>>
Someone like you would have to work their way up through sales. Start with a shitty sales job and transition that into a better sales job about 20-30 times.

well to elaborate i failed two and passed one about 3 years ago i believe and passed two more this fall/winter - just some science for the sake of learning stuff formally in class and feel like i'm capable of getting a decent looking record and possibly transfer to an at least somewhat decent business school? my thoughts are that if i do well in school and can thrive in the business world naturally that success and money are something i can still aim for

How much should you make over your cost of living in order to make moving out a good decision?

Right now I make 2400 a month before taxes.

The way I figure it, after taxes, student loans, and rooms I've seen for 550ish with utilities included, food, etc.

I'd be left with less than 200 bucks unless something came up.

However my commute sucks balls right now, and If I move out, I could get back 2 and a half hours of my life everyday. If I can cut my commute down to 50 minutes each way.

This could leave me time to do freelance on the side, improving my portfolio, which should make it easier to get a better job. Also I'd pull in money on the side.

In my field I can expect to start making double within a year, but likely not until at least 5 months are over.

Right now my life is: up, commute 2 hours, work 9 hours, commutes 1 hr 40 mins, 2 hr 20 mins before bed. (shit, shave, fap, shower). The only up side is that I'm left with an extra 600 bucks a months to save.

So not really a life at all.

What do? Is the time I'd get back worth it? I really want the time to make my portfolio better so I can get a better job sooner and not worry about money as much.

So, I am asking for a bit of help here.

A little context, I graduated in may from a small state university and went on like 100 interviews. I ended up landing the job I wanted ( only one to even want me to have said job ) at a broker firm at the board of trade.

The job is basically telemarketing with a script, my boss just chewed me out and is already threatening to fire me because I dont sound conversational enough with the script. I have to have half the script memorized and make it sound believable by tomorrow morning.

How does one read from a script while at the same time make it sound natural like its from the hip ?

How to control your emotions /biz/

I get angry to quick and make irrational decisions among other emotions

How do you control them to bend at our own will?

How do you make it so you control your emotions and your emotions don't control you?

sleep 8 hours and regularly, jack off, eat vegetables, do cardio

objectively evaluate yourself, you might be on the autistic spectrum, have ADHD or depression, or you might be a whiny little bitch, you will have to be honest with yourself and get help, life is short

follow the example of sima yi, zhuge liang tried relentlessly to coax him into leaving a defensive position and enter battle, but despite a severe roasting which enraged sima yi's soldiers he stayed put until zhuge liang ran out of supplies, be like sima yi, you win by being disciplined and rational, not wasting time and energy avenging petty slights

I had this checked out as a kid but I was able to keep my myself reserved around the diagnosis so they thought nothing was wrong with me

I definitely have an addictive type personality or something though
I can fix my addictions easy but only with another addiction and it is hard to transition but when I do I don't care about my last addiction
>Still looking for a good productive addiction.

I need something to immerse myself into 110Percent

>sleep 8 hours
Fuck

Wouldn't real sex be better though? I'm pretty good looking so I can get some pretty easy

I'd advise you to move to Colorado and grow your own weed for a fraction of the cost, but just alittle addition of time.

It's what I plan to do when it's legal in most places. Just grow. Growing bypasses every bullshit thing that goes along with weed.

>Finding a drug dealer
>Inflated costs of "demand and supply"
>Driving with weed
>Access to weed everyday of the year after first harvest
>Personal account of quality for the product
>With high yields you can cook the plant for butter, shadder, edibles, ect

Did you really smoke that much? Why not see that it's costing you to spend $100+/week on weed?
>If you aren't talking about weed, but nicotine, disregard post and FUCK OFF

Ditto anon. I thought I was the only person who could do this. What you didn't think of yet is getting their business Mastercard, so you just shuffle funds on over to your debit card for $3. You can also cash that out at an ATM obviously, without their ridiculous cash advance fees. What you also did not notice is that this system lets you pay your credit card bill with itself, provided you have at least that amount available in credit.

>tfw started with $100 on a betting site, worked my bankroll up to $2000, great discipline, great bankroll management, great analyzing, then tilted all away in one evening

How do I keep good discipline in all circumstances ? I know that I'm capable of making good money in sport betting if I fucking learn to control myself in all times and keep my head clear. Unfortunately once I'm on a losing streak of 4 and 5 games I just can't think clearly anymore. Here for example I went down from $2000 to $1700 and instead of telling myself "ok it's no big deal i'll just keep following the same strategy and work myself up again", I just couldn't accept losing and started to bet on whatever in hope on getting my losses back and ended up losing it all. So /biz/, what's the best way to learn discipline in situations like this?

Alright /Biz/, the world is FUCKED. I repeat, FUCKED. The baby boomers absolutely murdered our chances at a modern future.

The methane bubbles in Siberia are about to pop, leading to the Clathrate Gun. I think we can survive if you're somewhere safe and not super close to the equator.

What do we invest in?

Trump is pro coal/Hillary isn't. FUCK HER. But Trump straight up rejects science. Who's gonna win? How will it end? No one cares

So /biz/, I bought the bottom of the recent dip with Southwest Airlines a few days ago at $37.50/share. Yesterday it recovered 2.4% only to lose it all gain today. It's not quite a dead cat bounce because the loss was due to J.P. Morgan downgrading expectations on LUV to $34.

What do you think biz? cut my losses now (mostly time, I'm breaking even) or will the stock recover at least 6% in the near future? Even if it does reach $34, it doesn't mean it will get there in a steady downward slope...

I'm about $2k in and I'm considering all options.

Hold for long time until they break into international flights or sell now and never get into airline stocks ever again.

Honestly I was only planning on holding it for 10 days or so until the emotional part of the selloff was recovered an share prices reached a more stable point. I don't invest long.

Given this I suppose you think I should cut & run...

Did you checked macd, atx and tri indicator, and news, quarter results and ratings? Or did you just bought because of muh dip?

Simple question. Does anyone here have a criminal record (of any severity, as long as it comes up on background checks)? Specifically misdemeanors.

How has it affected your life, mainly how has it affected your financial situation and employment? Maybe note your level of education and what field you work in.
