Practice, practice, practice. I always hated public speaking and people in general until I became a waiter. Now people tell me I'm great with people. It is something, like any skill, you can pick up over time. There is no magic bullet.

One thing I did many years ago, when I decided I needed to work on my people skills, was force myself to talk to strangers. Even something as simple as a little joke or a smile at a cashier is a step forward. See how people react and go from there.

Okay:

Just do this for a lot of small dogs.

I've tried this before and we got about 15-25 dogs per day. It was alright but not nearly enough money as we had hoped so after we sold as many as we could we had to snap the rest's necks and sell them as wholesale at some Asian butcher my half Filipino friend advised. It was alright.
